I just wanted to post this because my neighbor made this for the Fourth of July and I kept sneaking into his house to steal some.  It was incredibly simple, but for some reason soooo delicious and fresh.

Watermelons, cubed, raspberries, and a green apple, sliced.  Throw everything into a bowl.

Balsamic Vinegar reduction drizzled on top.  (Just heat up and simmer balsamic vinegar in a pot until it thickens up)

Goat Cheese sprinkled on top of that.

Fresh cracked black pepper sprinkled on top of that.

Presto, time to eat.

no idea why but it was really good, lol

Better than throwing it into a bowl turn the watermelon into a bowl. Cut the watermelon in half and scoop out of the yummy goodness, chill the rind while cutting up the rest of the watermelon. I love my fruit bowls with grapes, strawberries, watermelon, honey dew.

Oh great, now I'm hungry! LOL

 mmmmm.... Im hungry now too!

Thanks for the recipe, will try it out... but why the black pepper? lol

No idea, lol, but it made me keep running downstairs to steal some!  I love fresh black pepper in general, but I don't know, it just makes the entire thing come together. The goat cheese (I had never had goat cheese before) kind of melted more into a cream the second it hit your mouth, then the balsamic was that touch of acid, so the pepper kind of rounded it out with a kick.

I have no clue why, I just know it worked, haha.

I adore cheese and fruit...! This is a really good recipe and I've had something similar to it..gonna have to remember for one the many summer barbecues I'll be going to!! Thanks
