I just bought a Nars lip gloss the other day in the color Striptease. It's clumpy and really thick and looks stale, I didn't seem to have this problem last time when I bought the Giza color, and it lasted me a whole year! Do you think I will be able to exchange it for a fresh tube, or do makeup counters generally have a no return policy?

You should be able to return it or exchange it. It's not your fault that the lipgloss is bad. Just take it back and make sure you have your receipt and box if the product came in one.

striptease itself is horrible quality. every tester we've had at work (even new ones) are the same disgusting mess.

Eww!!! take it back! And if you exchange it, check it right there to assure you don't get more of the same.

Every NARS gloss I ever tried felt and smelled like that. Pretty colors but the texture, taste and smell are ewww.

I exchanged it, and tested another one at the store which seemed fine. But as I'm using it now, I realize it's still clumpy, and it makes my lips peel horribly. I'm done officially with Nars lip glosses, I'll never buy one again!

I haven't tried a NARS lip gloss yet but I have had two lipsticks one of which had that same old almost rancid smell straight from the box. The other one literally dried up within a couple of months.

I don't buy their lip color products now but I have to have their eyeshadows and blushes.
