Lately when I am at work, when I get up, my right knee feels like it needs oiled or something, tin man syndrome, lol. I walk 6 miles per day and it never hurts or bothers me. It is only at work that it bothers me. It is really cold in the computer room, and I sit for long periods at a time. What can I do about this. I was thinking of taking glucosomine for it, but would like some feed back. Thanks

I think it's because of the cold - not sure why it happens though (memory is failing right now).

You could stretch your knees like once every 30 min

What are some knee stretches I could do? I have never really stretched my knee I don't think. I stretch my quads and calves everday though.

WebMD says knee pain is responsible for 1/3 of the doctor visits so its a common ailement.. All that exersize then, sitting for long periods of time is most likely the problem imho.. Even if you only get up every half hour and just walk a few steps.. And maybe a little ibuprofen to reduce swelling.. If it persists I'd go see a doctor because it could be a more serious tendon or a joint problem...

The cold is probably irritating the knee. Try stretches, and even take a blanket in there to cover your knee if it is that cold.
