Hello! I'm a former BareMineral wearer. Loved the coverage, my skin was still matte after a whole day's use. BUT the bismuth made my skin itch slightly, and the coloring just never quite matched with my Olive/yellow undertones. I tried Everyday Minerals - loved the color match, BUT skin is twice as oily after an hour of wear! I even tried both the intensive and matte formulas.

Anyone else have oily skin and have good luck with an MMU? I am tempted to go back to BareMinerals, I'll take the itch and slight color mismatch over an OIL SLICK!

I had the exact same problem with EDM, my skin got super oily after a few hours. I used the Intensive formula.

I use Lumiere Veen Velvet now with Lumieres Silk Powder on top and it makes a *big* difference. My skin can still get a little oily at the end of the day, but I just blot a little with the powder.

Meow is really good for keeping the oilies away. i'm using Meow, and don't even blot during the day! try their primer too. that will soak up any excess oil you have.

I use Purfect puss most of the time, and pampered puss sometimes. The foundation is pretty matte, and really takes away the shine. the primer fr oily skin is slightly drying for me...
i think the finishing powder's gives a nice "finished" look to my makeup.

YW! i think their foundations are great. and they have so many colours, IMO it's impossible not to be able to find a match.

It's purelycosmetics dot com, and the product is called 'oil absorb'. $18 seems a bit pricey, I'm assuming it's kaolin clay, but that's where it is if you want a look-see.

The website says it's bentonite clay. Dunno if that makes a difference or not though!

Hi Redlink

I have super oily skin and I found a really great mineral foundation at buff'd.com. I was using oceanmists foundations but I would have to blot 2 to 3 times a day. The customer service at buff'd was wonderful and I got free samples to find the perfect color match. Jennifer even pays for the shipping so you truly are trying it for free.

Fyrinnae Super Power foundation is amazing for oily skin. They also have a rice powder primer and a oil control finishing powder that have had rave reviews from fellow 'oil slicks' on MUA etc
