If you are at the beach, pool or just laying out without a hat or SPF for you hair and scalp, use sunscreen that is for your skin. When you get home, be sure to clarify. It may not be the best thing in the world, but it could save your hair from sun damage. But be sure to condition very well afterwards.
Here are 3 simple rules for hair in the summer.
Stay away from hair lightening (aka sun-in)products such as Sun In.
Invest in a hair conditioner that contains a sunscreen.
After a day at the pool, clarify your hair and condition well afterwards.
