I heard from a friend that there's a comb that can comb/cut out split ends. Has anyone heard of this, I'm skeptical of how it works but if it works it might be a good investment because i have splits everywhere!

I've never heard of it but might be nice. I do the search and destroy method every 3 or 4 months right now but hey, it's effective.

I saw an ad about that comb before I dont know its effectivity. But I suggest to trim your hair every three months and hot oil treatment once a month.

I just go through with a pair of nail scissors when I'm bored

I have heard of this special comb, and people say it does work. The one common thing I tend to hear is that it also grabs newly sprouted hair as well...

Never heard of anything like that, but I honestly believe getting your hair trimmed every 6-8 weeks, using a heat protectant when using heat styling tools, and not over-processing the hair makes a HUGE difference. Not to mention, deep conditioning and rinsing the hair with cool water.

A good product for split ends is SEALED ENDS by Schwartzkopf. It has amino acid proteins and a few other ingredients that bascially seal the ends and prevent them from becoming frail. It works very well

The best thing you can do for your hair for the long run is to make sure you at least trim your hair every 4-6 weeks. Once you have those split ends they will just continue to split upwards. For the meantime, I would suggest getting a conditioning treatment once a month at a salon. At my salon we charge $25 for an exfoliate and restore treatment. It's well worth the money.

We have the Exfoliate and Restore treatment to. Is yours Schwartzkopf?

Getting a good trim to remove all the splits is the best bet and afterwards when conditioning your hair applying extra to the ends and doing a treatment regularly should prevent future splits.
