The year 2007 in your life

I love to see everyone's responses at the end of every year. How was the year 2007 for you, what did you do/accomplish?

Here's my answers:

- Graduated with BS in computer science in January

- Got hired full time at work and got a big raise from before

- Started saving up for an appartment

- Got a lot of new electronics this year: Nintendo Wii, LCD TV, home theater system, iPod, camera...

- Made the first website I got payed for, got a bunch of makeup and an ipod for it

- Went to New York and Boston

- Moved from a student appartment to a nicer rental appartment

- Went to London

- got engaged

- got a raise at work (although not huge, but it's still a raise)

- lost almost 25 lbs.

- shopped a lot lol

everything else was not that big of a deal.

this year wasnt full of many big accomplishments for me but i

-moved home

-went on holiday to mexico and miami

-celebrated mine & my boyfriends 1st year together

ermmm and i cant even think of anything else

I moved to a new city two hours from my home town.

Got an apartment on my own

Started a new job which almost gave me a 40% increase in salary

Started becoming addicted to designer sunglasses

Have a stronger relationship with my mother

-Had my first "boyfriend"

-Broke up with my first "boyfriend"

-Went to the Christina Aguilera concert and saw PCD & Danity Kane

-Went to the Justin Timberlake concert and missed seeing pink because of freaking Jeet serving my damn nachos hella slow -_- /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> but I did see Timbaland.

-Went to LA alone without parents w/ my best friend and went on California Adventures for the first time.

-Saw the High School Musical premier with all them Disney actors.

-Went to LA with my family.

-Started talking again to my dad.

-Served my first Jury Duty for a criminal case which was a really cool experience.

-Witness my cousin's birth, such a great experience.

-Found out my other best friend is pregnant and I will be the God Mommy!

-Went to my first club ever! Fun times.

-Failed sociology and will take it again in 2008, lmao. Ugh.

-Bought fishes, woooooop.

-Bought sooo much clothes, accessories, and makeup... started my MAC collection this year.

I'm sure there's more but I haven't had such a significant year. A lot of first but short lived happiness

My grandfather passed away in March

My son turned 1 in April

I got another dog in August

I found out I was pregnant again in September

I got a new Jeep Commander in October

I, like Marisol, became addicted with designer sunglasses.

I got a job.

Made two new friends. (which is amazing for me.lol)

Decided to wear makeup and overall give myself a makeover.

Went to Disney World.

Try to figure out the things that make me happy and do them often.

Actually spoke to people in my classes.

Overall I guess the year wasn't bad.

yep.....boring year for me but sometimes boring is not so bad

In 2007:

-I got a new job which pays really well (more shopping!)

-Brought my first German Shepherd puppy

-Went on my first trip to Indiana to meet the extended portion of the b.f.'s family (only took him 2 years to get me out there!)

-In March, I brought my own car (paid it off in full in 5 months! Yay!)

-In June, went white water rafting with the b.f. and a group of his people.

-August found me celebrating another anniversary with Jerry <3

-In October, found out that my cousin is expecting her third and final baby. It will be her only baby girl. =)

-In November, I went on my first cruise (I fell in love with Mexico and Honduras!)

-Amma (Grandma) also came back to the States in November!

-Just this week, I found out my sister is pregnant with her first baby.

All in all, it has been a pretty good year!

- changed the parameters of my relationship with my ex

- discovered MUT and its implications (increased addiction to makeup which corresponds to higher expenditures)

- joined the gym

- semi-last term in college (3 months to go w00t!)

- realized I've friends that I really could depend on

- party-ed more!!! yeah baby!

not much happened, but just two major changes...

- moved into our brand new house

- got a promotion with a huge pay increase

-Graduated college with two Advanced Honors Bachelors Degrees and two Advanced Honors Minors (Woohoo!)

-Moved thirteen hours away from my hometown, family, college, friends, and previous life to Birmingham, AL.

-Performed theatrical improv for the first time

-Discovered MUT and drastically increased my makeup collection

-Began scrapbooking for the first time

-Cut my hair really short and absolutely love it

-Played parent while my niece stayed with me for two months and realized I don't want to have children for several more years

-Performed in the Rocky Horror Picture Show talent contest as Columbia

-Picked out my first Christmas tree, ornaments, stockings, and decorations with my husband

-Celebrated my first wedding aniversary

-Spent my first summer away from the beach

-Saw a real live anteater for the first time

-Fed a giraffe from my very own hand.

I didn't start good this year:

- My boyfriend got fired and it took him 6 months to find another one.

- I had some problems to deal with my mood swings.

But in the middle of the year, things started to change:

- I started the beauty therapy course.

- I started the driving lessons which are going quite good.

- Celebrated my bf and mine 1st anniversary.

- Found another job which I'm going to start in January.

Hopefully next year will be a good one

- Got a wonderful job that I will probably have as my career. Great pay and hours.

- My son turned a year old.

- Lost my grandma (that wasn't a happy time).

Hmmm, 2007...My oldest son finally moved his drum set out of his bedroom and into his apartment (in Boston) and got engaged! My youngest son got to work in London, Melburn and Singapore (among other places) and got a big raise and a great bonus. My we celebrated our wedding anniversary- 32 wonderful years together, I got a few more surfboards, finished the addition to the house (I was the general contractor!). It didn't seem like a busy year until you made me think about it!

wow, some awesome accomplishments for all of you! way to go

as for me -i became an aunt to my first neice and saw the birth! (whoa i cant believe i did that 8 1/2 years ago)

i also have a nephew who moved away, i was so sad

i finished another year of college-5 more classes to go!

my son turned 8 yrs old (growing up way too fast)

i turned the big 30

i celebrated my 9 yr anniversary with my hubby-no one thought it would last, including me lol

i began pursuing my dream job of being a-Make up artist and have loved every second of it!

got a job as a staff make up artist for an up and coming local magazine (pro-bono for now but i love it)

Disfunkshion magazine-its gonna be hot

i decided to further my education in beauty by deciding to attend beauty school next fall

all on all a wonderfully fantstic year for me- i hope 2008 brings more good lifechanging experiences!
