Took Some SAFEWAY Brand Cold Pills (Got Really Sick Off Them)

This was a year ago but I took one more then I was supposed to, your supposed to take only 2

My reaction was severe body pain, malaise and horrible feeling I cannot describe

My dilemma I'm sick with a bad cold , almost flu

those are all what I have in the house should I take two of them and take a chance?

Is there an expiry date on the box? It could have been a bad batch or you had some type of allergic reaction to the product or ingredient. I wouldn't risk taking them if they made you sick in the past. Maybe one of your children or neighbour could head to a pharmacy to buy you a different brand.

I have a problem with the chemical that they used to replace pseudoephedrine in cold medicines. I can't remember the name of it, but I have to ask the pharmacist sprcifically for the cold medicine with real pseudoephedrine because I can't take the new stuff that is supposed to be safer. I have a really bad reaction to it.

Hmmm how do you know that your symptoms were due to the pill and not to the cold itself...?

Because aprox a half hour after i took the pills I got massive body pain
