There are brown reds, blue reds, orange reds, pink reds.....come on??? When did the entire World get so stuck on smokey eyes and nude lips....?

I think I look gross in any dark lipstick. I've never found a red that works on me.

This should help take some of the guess work out of determing which red works best for you.

I like my red lipgloss but my lips are too odd shaped for red lipstick. I find lip liner impossible to use. I have some scarring on my lower lips and lip liner just makes them look funky.

Me too!! It's soo predictable these days...everyone loves nude lips. I do too, but I am not afraid to throw on a hot color and tone down the eyes. It's fun to mix it up!

I have found if you are warm toned and dark haired, brick red can look good. Blue based makes me look clownish.

I really want to wear bright colors because I've seen girls with my skin complexion pull it off so nice, like niecy nash:

But I have yet to achieve that look. Perhaps because I never done lipsticks.

Oh Man Celly....you would look soooo HOT!!!! Just do liner and mascara and then that pop of color on the lips. With your beautiful skintone it would be amazing!!!

I'm still searching for a perfect red for me. All the ones that I've tried either look orange or hot pink. lol. But I really would like a great red lipstick to wear every once in awhile.

i love red lips, but the problem is i always have trouble wearing dark colours on my lips. i don't mind going heavy on the eyes, but the contrary, never.
