*UGH!* What is their problem!??

I went to go pick up my new HP notebook today at Best Buy. Well, since I was in the area I wanted to stop by Sephora, and pick up some new goodies. Usually the ladies are very sweet and helpful. Well, today they were NOT. I think it's b/c I wasn't all dolled up , when I am they are super nice.. Today wasn't my day. I just wanted to get my stuff and go home. As soon as I walked in they were a little put-offish. One of them greeted me, but that was about it. Whatever, I know what I wanted to I went straight for it.

Here's What I Got:

- St.Tropez Auto Bronzant Lotion

- Too Faced Starry-Eyed Liquid Eyeliner in Drunk Dial and Restraining Order

- UDPP

- Benefit's "That Gal" Face Primer

- Nars Duo Eyeshadow in South Pacific and Elsa

- Nars Lip gloss In Striptease

- Dior Blush Sunkissed Cinnamon

So, I go to the register and she's ringing me up. When she tells me the total SHE is shocked..not me. I don't get it. Did she think I couldn't pay for all that? Ummm...I wouldn't get it if I couldn't pay for it..GEEZ! Anywho, my shopping at Sephora sucked today! But at least I got my goodies, n I luvvvv 'em! =)

I had a girl at Belks treat me that way not long ago when I was buying perfume. I did not look my best that day but she was a total snob. I asked her if she had a problem with me and she just said something about the price of the perfume. I felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman......big mistake lady.....I went to the other end of the mall and bought it.

Usually I go to sephora when I have a break from school or after school and a lot of times im not all made up and they treat me a bit different than the other chicks, same thing at MAC. But once I start telling them exactly what im looking for and how I have this and that they treat me very diff

It irks me when someone tries to judge you by the way you look...like you couldn't afford something. This never happens to me. I guess cuz I carry shopping bags with me from store to store...so they think I'm loaded. lol, I need to dress down sometimes cuz I hate going to every store and they stalk you like vultures asking if I need help with anything with their fake smiles. Yes I know this cuz I've done retail for 2 yrs! I mean, don't get me wrong...most are sincere, but it annoys me when they ask me for help and then ignore my friend. She might look younger than me and dress more casually, but she's a person too! Sometimes I have to tell them she's with me and they're like "oh, i'm so sorry! does your friend need anything?"

Anyway, I'll leave my rant for another day. Lol great haul btw and enjoy!

I hate when store employees treat people that way and I am sorry for your bad experience. Maybe there was something going on behind the scenes that had the workers in a bad mood. With a 3 day holiday some of them may have really wanted to be off.

This wouldn't happen to be the Sephora in Flatiron Crossing mall in Boulder, Colorado, would it? ;P

I was visiting a friend there and he took me to that mall, and I was dressed kind of grubby and had on very little makeup, we'd been out for hours and hours and I wasn't really intending to go shopping in the first place. But I walked in, and looked around for a moment, and this girl came up to us (admittedly my friend looks like the last person you'd see in a makeup store of any sort, but he wanted to buy me a present) and gave off this vibe of "wtf are you doing in our store, you unkempt mongrels?"

I decided right then and there that I didn't want either of us wasting our money in that particular shop and walked right back out.
