i have a virus on my computer. my computer don't have anti-virus software. how do i get rid of the virus?

You can do one of two things.

You can format and reinstall windows. But you'll be back here in 4 months as windows will get slow and unresponsive. Wash, rinse, and repeat.

or....

Get a macintosh computer. Yes there is a difference. My first mac from 2002 is still going. Runs faster and more feature rich than vista.

You can go HERE and download that program, scan it and it should put the virus in a "Virus Vault"..

And if your computer is still acting crazy, You can always reformat it. (Just back up all your files and such that you don't want to lose)

That program works pretty good though, especially since it's free, but If you have the money..I would suggest getting Norton or something.

#1-you can get free antivirus trials everywhere. Tony suggested one to me, but I dont remember the name

#2-how do you know that you have a virus?

right now, i am scanning my computer with AVG. so far so good. also, no messages saying that i have "worm.win32.netsky" virus pop up on the screen. is this a good sign saying that my computer is now virus free?
