Wet n Wild Comeback!!!

Ok so for all of you who know about this brand, or used it in the past. It is NOTHING like what it used to be. I remember being 12yrs old and buying this make-up at Walgreens because it was the cheapest thing and I had no money! LOL

Well let me tell you things have changed… I decided to give it a try one day I was running late to set. I am an actress and for those of you who know the saying struggling actor well that was me about a year ago, and really couldn't afford to spend any money on make-up. To my surprise I ended up loving the little palette I bought for $2.50! I loved it so much that I went to buy the bigger palettes of 8 eyeshadows they have.

After experimenting with their eyeshadows I bought their lipstick and eyeliners, which to my surprise as well were AMAZING! Their eyeliners now actually go on now and are very sensitive to your eyes (I have sensitive eyes)

So my FINAL VERDICT is DEFINITELY go for WET N WILD! They have saved me so much money especially since I run thru makeup like their m&ms LOL

Below is a pic of one of the palettes I have! The pic on my avatar is also completely done with Wet n Wild eyeshadow, lip liner, lipstick, and eyeliner.

I am quite certain I never stopped purchasing Wet N Wild lol. Yes I used it as a teen and yes their stuff has improved. My Sandcastle palette is one of my favorites!

The first makeup item I ever purchased was a Wet n' Wild purple eyeshadow quad and I've loved them since. The eyeshadow trio in "I'm getting sunburned" is my favorite product

They've definitely evolved over the years. I have grown to love Wet n Wild. The quality of product you get and the pigmentation, for the price??? Talk about a steal!!! I feel like I'm getting over when I purchase Wet n Wild. In fact, I just placed an order yesterday for some items that I can't seem to find locally.

I've been loving Wet N Wild lately, I've bought so much of their stuff. It's great and cheap. I compare it to E.L.F., but then again, I love E.L.F. products.

I had an allergic reaction to WnW eyeshadow when I was in high school and my skin is not super sensitive. It's the only eyeshadow I can recall having an allergic reaction to. I'm still hesitant to try it again . . . I'm sure they have reformulated a few times since then but I still can't bring myself to try any of their eye products. I do own one of their nail polishes which I have been very pleased with. I love the colors in the palette Evi posted above. I love the price too :)

I'm so happy to see this post! My girlfriend was making fun of me because I have so many W&W items in my kit! It just proves I'm not crazy!  I LOVE W&W shadows! I'm not a fan of their lipsticks yet but maybe they will surprise me one day! They were my first makeup buy too! I remember the white tubes with Wet & Wild written in blue swirling up the side... haha I actually think I have one just because my mom found it when she was going through some of my old things!

You can always test it on your skin someplace less noticeable like on the underside of your arm. That's where I test stuff haha.

I love Wet n Wild nail polishes. Some of them are only $1 and last a full week on me with minor to no chipping, I built up my nail polish collection really fast buying those! I just recently bought 2 of their lipsticks and I really like their faint berry smell, and the one I've tried so far is super hydrating and pigmented. I'm a UD shadow junkie but I just might pick up some of their shadows as well - the price is just too tempting!

It is like the holy grail of Wet n Wild palettes to own lol. I have it too, and it is fantastic.

There have been a few misses for me, but overall Wet n Wild is a solid brand.

The ones in the grey tubes are OK (I only like a few of those), but the mattes (in the black tubes) are great.

I just recently rediscovered Wet n Wild when I had a bunch of $1 coupons this summer...I got most of the products for free or around 50 cents lol.  I love the megalast nail polish and glosses!

On a side note I'd love to try the Fergie line ..anyone know where to find it?  I've tried Target, Walmart, Walgreens and Rite Aid in my area.  My mom found it at a Family Dollar but not at the one by me..I may just have to wait until my area gets it

I believe it is a Walgreens exclusive. That is where I found it.

I saw the Fergie palettes at Walgreens yesterday, so I agree that they are probably exclusive to there as I have not seen them elsewhere.

The most important lip liner I carry and use WetnWild 666 I wouldn't consider my kit complete without it.

For anyone else that may have been looking for it, I finally found the Fergie collection..1 hour away!  Family Dollar had it for $3 in my area, Rite Aid had them cramped with no display in a small basket with no price, and of course Walgreens..I guess they just haven't made it to my rural area yet!

I love their eye shadows and especially their blushes, that's pretty much all I use from them though, everything else the quality is good for the money but I like other products better

I'm in love with their eyeshadows and I bought a blush from them last weekend and I am now obsessed with it! I defiantly have to get more.

I can remember in my late teens early 20's WnW had my fave purple L/S. And I gave these eye colors a try and really like them. But when I was at Wally World I saw a pallet of some wonderful colors by Black Radiance. It looked like WnW and sure enough it is the same company. ( Checked the back for who makes them) BUT they charged more for the pallet. The colors are deeper and I told the Mgr. at WM odd why they are charging more for the same pallets in the same aisle but Black Radiance is for women of color. And that is not right.
