Hey guys! This is pretty much just a mooshpile of questions. FirstI've been trying to find perfect makeup tutorials to help me make my eyes HUGE but ive been having some issues because I can't tell what kind of eyes I have! so can someone help me out. I think I have hooded but Im not totally sure. Also, ive been experimeting with contouring and highlighting and it doesn't seem to be going well because Im so DARK. Are there any techinques that yall suggest? Next my lips are pretty GYKANORMOUS and it kind of hate it. are there any tips for that too? Lastly ( I swear) i love super curly VOLUMINOUS hairstyles but Idk if I can do that with my head. Tips for this too! Thanks so much!!

thanks so very much! <3

I don't think your eyes are small, and everybody wants big lips anyway lol :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />.

Hooded eyes are those that don't have a pronounced, noticeable crease because the skin folds over--think Nicole Kidman or Camilla Belle. If anything I'd say your eyes are almond-shaped with a small crease? I'm no expert though, so take my advice with a grain of salt.

I think your eye makeup looks fine, but if you want to play around a bit, get a liquid or gel liner and play with dramatic liner. For the traditional bold crisp liner, you want it to gradually get thicker as you work your way out, and extend it past your eye--then end it with a flick like this:

<--you can find tons of YT tutorials on eyeliner

If you do wear dramatic eyeliner, you should probably avoid dark, heavy eyeshadows. If you want to open up your eyes, it also helps to not wear black eyeliner on the lower lashline. I think a shimmery gold shadow above the liner + a neutral brown shadow on the outer v would look great.

You look fine with curly hair. You could also pull off bangs really well, like Zooey Deschanel or Katy Perry :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> hope that helps!

Boo... mine are the typical asian HOOded lid small eyes. Which means I have to draw my eyeliner super duper thick, otherwise when i open my eyes, 3/4 of the eyeliner jus disappear or folds into my lids..... *bangs head against wall*

As far as Youtube tutorial videos, I strongly recommend Goss Makeup Artist.  He has one specifically on finding your eye shape:

I agree they are almond shaped (jealous!!!). You do seem to have a bit of a hooded look to them too. Try putting the darker, crease color on the hooded part to fake a crease there. Just a thought. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I was just thinking this!

His videos are great!

They look hooded but with a lot of space between your brow and lash line. I agree they are almond shaped and set apart a little far.

I agree with almond shaped eyes. As far as hair, try Bantu knots..they 're easy and low maintenance once you do it a few times. The more knots the tighter the curl. I usually between 4-6 for a looser wavy look.

I think your eyes are very similar to super model oluchi's! try and copy some of her looks

Edit: Link removed

You do not in any universe have hooded eyes, they are almond shaped. all you need to do is let the dark you place at the socket rise further up, the more space you have between socket line and brow the higher you go with the dark.

Have you ever tried a mustard like yellow on the center of the lid ? when you place dark at the socket this will really make the eye pop! However do not apply the color over the whole lid evenly because you are not a wall, you want the center to be stronger.
