I went out on Saturday so it got me thinking...
When you go out (whether it's to party, socialize or whatever it may be), what motivates you to go to a beauty salon that morning, put on your best lingerie, your hottest/most elegant dress and shoes, to do your hair, to wear your best jewelry set, best makeup, etc...and look YOUR ABSOLUTE BEST? Who/what do you think of when you're getting ready? Is it your significant other? Your self-perception?
I know that for me, when I look and feel my best, I'm different around people: I smile more, I converse more and I am likely more pleasant to be around. So I guess my answer is self-perception.
