According to online and real life sources, the following items are in style for Spring/Summer 2004:

  • Retro clothing and accessories
  • Flats such as ballet slipper type shoes or moccasins
  • Pants/jeans that stars wear such as Blue Cult Jeans
  • Smaller brands are very popular. This includes individual designers and smaller apparel company's like Seven Jeans, Lucky Brand, etc (versus large corporations such as Gap and Abercrombie)
  • Mixing and matching clothes of different price ranges such as jeans by Seven with a shirt by Old Navy.
  • Jeans with low pockets on the seat
  • Low-rise bikinis a la 1970's
  • Camisol tank tops and halter tops
  • "Wife beater" tanks
  • Bright colored accents and accessories
  • Mixing gold and silver
in a variety of complimenting lengths so the look is stylishly intentional
[*]Flip flops
[*]Utility pants and capris
[*]A fake, but natural looking tan
[*]Sultry, floofy skirts
[*]Straight leg jeans
[*]Western touches such as a snap-front shirt
[*]Hair with movementthat’s purposely messy- nothing stiff, nothing boring, nothing contrived, nothing too done.
[*]Bold prints and patterns from florals, stripes, big to small that can be combined together

I love being different and mix and matching different styles. Old Navy has the best 'Wife Beater' tshirts. They are good and cheap, as I would like to say. They don't strink and they cost like $7. That's not bad. You can dress them up with jeans and a nice heel or a skirt with a cute ballet sandal with bows on them.

I like to look in magazines for ideas. And then mix and match with stuff I buy and already have.
