Whats the best kind of DIGITAL CAMERA, to buy for under 80 ?

Hi, after looking at all those wonderful, cute pet pics , I knew I must get a digital camera! Been planning on it anyway /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />.

Any suggestions, on what kind and for under 80, for my budget, I know its low, but.. such is life . I'd really like to get the best I can for that price. Any advice is appreciated.

There isn't really a "best" option for cameras at that price point. I know Vivitar makes a lot of point and shoots for under $100. Best Buy online usually has a bunch of them on sale, too.

A few on-line places have the Nikon Coolpix S30 for $75-$80 currently, on closeout, used to be $120. It's apparently a fairly decent, basic camera as long as you aren't looking for big prints. In good light it should suffice for snapshots. Reviews say that it's a little slow to use, so it's probably not a good camera if you want to catch stuff like kids in action. That's probably about as good as you can do for $80.
