Well, one of my bridesmaids currently has a very exciting job working for Gap, Inc. she helped launch their online shoe store, Piperlime Your insider’s guide to casual shoes, dress shoes, boots and more for women, men and kids. | piperlime. this has completely worked out in our favor, because shopping with her means serious discounts at her online store (obviously), Banana Republic (work clothes!!!), Gap and Old Navy (Baby Clothes!!!).
well, she got a call this week from a former colleague who now works down the street at Sephora USA Corporate. They are looking for an experienced website producer with a strong commerce background and an strong understanding of trends in the beauty and fashion industry...
HELLO!!! totally her!!!!
so she goes in tomorrow to meet with the VP of Sales. From the sound of it, they are just about wiling to offer her anything to switch over to their company... and if all goes well, she will have opportunities to work with their parent company, Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton (MHLV), who owns DIOR BEAUTY!!!!!!! obviously that is a big yay for ME
HOW EXCITING!
This is why i love SF... the opportunities to do something glamorous fun and adventurous are just around the corner if you are willing to work for it.
While i love the clothing discounts, I can't wait to see what type of makeup perks she'll get working here!
BTW- did you know that you can only wear black, grey or red at the corporate offices of Sephora, with the exception of Fridays? I thought that was an interesting tidbit.
