  3. Now that you’ve got the base done, it’s time to pick out a product that works for you. You can use a liquid liner that comes in a tiny vial bottle with a thin brush applicator or a felt tip pen. You can also use a gel-based eyeliner that comes in a pot. You will have to use an angled brush or eyeliner brush for this. For the sake of simplicity, let’s use a felt tip eyeliner. This is convenient, and easy to use, if you’re a beginner. I love using They’re Real!Push Up Eyeliner by Benefit. It’s a gel-based eyeliner that comes in a pen form. The applicator is the best part since it is angled. Now, without further ado, let’s get started with the tutorial! How To Do Cat Eye Makeup – Tutorial A cats eyes are enchanting, aren’t they? That slender shape and outline – there’s something about those feline eyes! The cat eye liner look has been quite a rage in the makeup world for a long time now. From Cleopatra to Bollywood actresses, cat eyes have been flaunted by all women who are at the top of their fashion game. This look is here to stay, so it’s best to try and perfect it right now. It’s never too late to begin! Before we dive into the cat eye makeup tutorial, these are the things you will need. What You Will Need Primer Eyeliner What To Do Before Going To Do Cat Eye Makeup? There are a few things you must Take care of before you start on your makeup. Pay heed to the steps below, it’s important! Step 1: Prep The Eye The very first step is to create a good base for the cat eye. Make sure to thoroughly cleanse, tone and moisturize. If you have redness around the eyes, dark circles or puffiness, use an eye serum or an eye cream. These do wonders! To make sure that the makeup sits well, apply a primer. Step 2: Pick An Eyeliner Step 1: Line The Upper Lash Line Line the upper lashline in slow strokes. Start off with small strokes, since you don’t want to rush too quickly and mess it up. If you make small strokes, you can gradually increase the thickness as per your requirement. Step 2: Find The Right Angle This is crucial! Follow the natural shape of your eyes to guide you as to where your flick would go. Imagine that your lower lash line is extended. This should be the angle that you create a flick. You can use an eyeshadow and an angled brush to roughly map out the shape. Step 3: Create The Flick Once you have the angle figured out, use dotted motions with your eyeliner to create a flick. Using small dots will help you figure out what the flick’s final shape would be. When you are satisfied with this, join the dots and fill it in to connect to the line you’ve drawn above your lashline. Step 4: Clean Up If the shape is a little wonky, you can always use a cotton swab or concealer to correct it. Voila! One perfect cat eye, ready to see the world! ----------- See More Makeup Tutorial
  4. 10 WAYS EYELINER CAN MAKE YOUR EYES LOOK BIGGER Faking bigger eyes is a covetable makeup trick that just about every guru has mastered. Although we can’t promise a magical doe eyes at the drop of a hat, we can give you some easy, foolproof ways to make your own eyes bigger and brighter using only eyeliner and mascara (no shadow necessary). Ahead, find ten simple looks that use eyeliner and a tinge of mascara to get those rounder, enviable eyes. How To Prep 1. Dab on lightweight eye cream to hydrate. Focus only on the area under the eyes, not lids (as this will cause makeup to smear). The cream should absorb quickly and leave your skin feeling smooth but not greasy. Try Lancôme Rénergie Lift Multi-Action Lifting And Firming Eye Cream. 2. Apply a color corrector to neutralize dark circles. Pick an orange-based corrector and apply with a small brush. Make sure to go up to the lashline, as well as the inner corner of the eye to lighten the dark area by the nose. Let the color sit on your skin instead of blending in. Try L'Oréal Paris Infallible Total Cover Color Correcting Kit. 3. Pat concealer directly on top of the corrector. This will virtually erase any darkness and create a smooth, clean palette for your eye makeup. Use your ring finger to blend the concealer carefully. We recommend the Maybelline New York FaceStudio Master Camo Color Correcting Kit for this step. 4. Keep concealer from sliding away throughout the day with powder. Choose a translucent powder, like the L'Oréal Paris Hydra Perfecte Loose Powder and lightly dust it all over the face.See More : WINTER EYE MAKEUP TUTORIALS FOR BROWN EYES How To Get The Look Shimmery Bright Peachy Keen Less Liner Tip: Skip this if you have round eyes, which look best when the top lash line is darker and thicker. 5. 1. GOLD AND BROWN According to Oliver, this eyeshadow duo is great for a subtle smoky eye. Gold and brown pair well, and the result is both elegant and striking. To get the look, we recommend using Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Buck and Lancôme Color Design Sensational Effects Eyeshadow in Filigree. Buck is a matte shade that pairs well with the shimmery Filigree, a true gold hue that glides on like a dream. 2. CREAM AND TAUPE Matte cream and taupe are a classic shadow pair that works regardless of the occasion. We recommend applying the cream shade all over lid and working the taupe into the crease on the outer edges to create definition. To get the look, reach for a mini palette like IT Cosmetics Naturally Pretty Eyeshadow Trio in Matte Luxe. The popular trio offers anti-aging benefits and incredible color payoff, and is easy to place and blend. 3. BURNT ORANGE AND NAVY Burnt orange really pops on the lid, creating a point of focus. Navy, when blended into the lash line, provides a nice contrast and a little bit of edge. All you have to do is dust the lid with your orange shadow and buff it out just past the crease. Then, smudge your navy shadow into the lash line using a short, flat brush. We love Urban Decay Eye Shadow in Evidence and NYX Nude Matte Shadow in Frisky for this look — high-performance shadows that offer loads of pigment. 4. ROSE AND CHAMPAGNE Rose and champagne eyeshadow shades are universally flattering, soft and feminine. They're a must in every cosmetic wardrobe and perfect for achieving soft glam looks. Apply the champagne eyeshadow all over the lid and pop the rose onto the center, stopping at the crease. Next, blend the eyeshadow colors well, so the transition is seamless. Our favorite pairing for this look is L’Oréal Infallible 24 HR Shadow in Glistening Garnet & Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow in Space Cowboy, two shimmery hues that look amazing on their own but even better together.
