  1. Recently I have been having issues with acne.I would get a pimple and as it goes away ,another pimple would appear .I found it so annoying ,so I took a break from wearing makeup. I have scheduled myself for a laser skin scar treatment this weekend. I am so excited to remove the scars from my face. I know this will be a process ,but it will be all worth it .The doctor also recommended, Zo Skin Health products for my face . It is honestly my first time using Zo Skin Health products. I purchased the exfoliating cleanser, dual action scrub and oil control pads for acne treatment. It is only day two of me using these products and I can see and feel the difference in my skin.I can’t wait to see my results within 30 days. What do you guys use to fight acne or unwanted bumps ?!
  2. Another topic I like to talk about is face oils. Face oils can be incredibly beneficial for your skin without weighting it down. I like to use some of them as daily “moisture seal” because oils lock up moisture in your skin and make it smooth and hydrated. Jojoba oil (https://www.amazon.es/gp/product/B01E7MCWFW/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=3638&creative=24630&creativeASIN=B01E7MCWFW&linkCode=as2&tag=trytomakeface-21&linkId=9943538e9463e6290941d9edc36ab5c4) Not only is jojoba an incredibly lightweight and breathable oil (making it great for combination skin that still needs some moisture), but, because jojoba actually breaks down and dissolves sebum, it'll also help control your shine. Rosehip Oil (https://www.amazon.es/gp/product/B004RGIPT6/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=3638&creative=24630&creativeASIN=B004RGIPT6&linkCode=as2&tag=trytomakeface-21&linkId=528830e63c8f9a85093a00694ce794fb) When you want to treat irritated, angry, red, acne prone ski. The oil deeply hydrates skin (without suffocating your pores) with fatty acids that also fade acne scars and reduce redness. Argan Oil (https://www.amazon.es/gp/product/B004RG9WBQ/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=3638&creative=24630&creativeASIN=B004RG9WBQ&linkCode=as2&tag=trytomakeface-21&linkId=e5f5df4f43442d7a547a275f7bbb71d3) It’s rich and soothing, it sinks in quickly, and it’s incredibly high in vitamin E—an antioxidant that helps prevent skin damage, dark spots, and fine lines by blocking environmental damage. This oil is the best for “normal” skin type. Aloe Vera Oil (https://www.amazon.es/gp/product/B07SBWB77Q/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=3638&creative=24630&creativeASIN=B07SBWB77Q&linkCode=as2&tag=trytomakeface-21&linkId=3a104e61a5230c7c2c893f0bcef9838c) Aloe oil is filled with anti-inflammatories and antioxidants, but it also has the added bonus of being a natural antibacterial and astringent, making it a powerhouse for sensitive skin that’s also oily or acne-prone. Coconut oil(https://www.amazon.es/gp/product/B013JOSM1C/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=3638&creative=24630&creativeASIN=B013JOSM1C&linkCode=as2&tag=trytomakeface-21&linkId=a0297670f8dcc63f6efeb78d5cd0684c) If you need something that takes off your makeup in seconds Coconut oil is the best for it. If you wear waterproof makeup on daily basis your skin, eye area can get irritated very easily. Take a small amount on your fingertips and massage your lashes (eye area). Makeup melts in just a moment. Be careful because it might clog your pores a little. Everyone can find the PERFECT face oil for them. I personally love to use my skin tools with oils. My recommendation is face roller (https://www.amazon.es/gp/product/B07NLB4GHN/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=3638&creative=24630&creativeASIN=B07NLB4GHN&linkCode=as2&tag=trytomakeface-21&linkId=07a69629d693f95ea1fae0ad548335d8) Put few drops in you hands, warm up the oils a bit with your body temperature and then apply to your skin. Massage your face 5-10 minutes with face roller and watch your skin glow.

  5. DRY SKIN!? NO PROBLEM! Having healthy, glowing skin depends largely on lifestyle factors. If you enjoy DIYs or if you have a limited budget, you can do facial treatments at home with inexpensive ingredients that offer well-known skin benefits that even professionals acknowledge as effective. The Problem: Dry skin If your skin lacks luminosity because it is dry or because it has been exposed to environmental factors like wind, sun, and extreme temperatures, avocado is a great ingredient to include in your homemade face mask. Avocados are very rich in nutrients such as Vitamin A, E, B12, K, C, and fatty acids. The Remedy: Avocado + Honey Mask - 1 ripe avocado - 1 tablespoon of honey - Bowl - Spoon - Fork - Knife DIY Mask: Mash the avocado pulp with a fork until the consistency is creamy and even. Add a tablespoon of honey and mix. Apply to the skin with a spoon. You may apply it even on the under eye area to soothe it and moisturize it, but make sure not to get too close to the eyes. Leave on for 15 minutes and then rinse with lukewarm water. Pat the skin dry. (Avocado has softening and nourishing properties that help with replenishing and healing the skin, as suggested by a 2013 study) Make sure to follow my platforms!www.youtube.com/lindaaaboo << Subscribe! www.twitter.com/beautybyluo

  7. I have been researching on how to get rid of acne naturally. I found the Chinese method of scar removal. Chinese people use mung beans to clear their faces. You can buy the mung beans powder from any cosmetic store. Apply the mung bean mask on the skin. It is very beneficial.

  10. My obsession with this face mask near borders on love. It tackles my blackheads and breakouts in a way nothing else can. I use it once and i can SEE the results. But, with 25 dollars for 3 and a half ounces, I just wish I could find something with the same results for less. I understand that a lot of things cost a lot more, but my budget is tight and that adds up over time, especially with how often I use it. Does any know any dupes for this product, or anything that has the same fantastic results at a lower price point? Yours in Recklessness Gray.

  14. The products that I use for this look are - The Hourglass Illusion Skin Tint ($55 for 1 oz) in Nude. I was given quite a few foil samples of this foundation. When I saw the name, I thought it would be a light base with barely any coverage (think a BB cream if you will) but boy was I surprised. It's a gorgeous full coverage foundation which can be blended out if you need to. The color Nude is a tad light for me, so I applied the base using my fingers and then blended it out with my Real Techniques Buffing Brush. It blended out so well, still giving me plenty of coverage but now playing nice with my actual skin color. The foil sample is 1 ml and I think I will get about 5 uses out of it!! You really need the tiniest amount. This might be similar to Kevyn Aucoin's Skin Sensual Enhancer, which is packed with pigment so you only need the smallest amount. Once I finish a few of my foundations (which might take a few months), I am DEFINITELY going to buy this product. Stila Convertible Color in Lillium ($25 for 0.15 oz) is a blush I bought through Hautelook, it looked like a lovely mauve light pink shade on the screen but it doesn't show up really well on my NC42 skintone. I love the emolient consistency of it though. I use it on my cheeks as a cream blush using my fingers but I also use it under my eyes as a corrector! I know it sounds strange but this helps correct my dark circles which are abundant right now. The Balm's Time Balm ($18 for 7.5 g) in shade Medium/Dark is another Hautelook purchase. This concealer is over a year old and I want to finish it. I have made a good dent in it but I need to keep going, so I am using it as my face and under eye concealer. I think these thicker concealers are perfect for blemishes or scars on the face but do crease something nasty under my eyes. However, when I use the Stila Convertible Color in Lillium under my eyes before applying this concealer, there is no creasing and the concealer stays put for 4-5 hours, which is average for me. Score!! Benefit's Dandelion face powder ($28 for 0.25 oz) is a gorgeous pink blush if you have fair skin, however for my skin tone, it works as a beautiful brightening face powder. I use the ELF Kabuki brush ($6) to apply it all over my face. I then go in with my Stila Pigment in Finale (discontinued), which has been my go to blush for months now and such a great find for $4 at a Nordstrom Rack! I use Real Techniques Duo Fiber Face Brush from their Nic's Picks set ($29.99) and apply this over the top of my cream blush. The result is a blush color that stays put and lasts all day. My favorite cream highlighter ever is a discontinued product from Clinique in Pink Sugar (discontinued). I think it is meant to be a blush but for me it works as a perfect soft pinky highlight. I use my fingers to dot this on top of my cheek bones, on my cupids bow and down the bridge of nose. The Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder ($9.58 for 16.5 g) is a great color for me as a bronzer. I apply it lightly to the outside of my face and to hide my double chin. Now for the eyes. This is really simple. I use the IT Cosmetics Universal Eyebrow Pencil to fill in my brows and then use the Anastasia Clear Brow Gel ($22) to seal them in place. I smudge two layers of the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze ($6.99) all over my eyelids. I use the Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder as my crease color and blend out the crease. I then use my Lancome Le Crayon Khol Smoky Eyeliner in Black Ebony ($26) to tightline and smudge a little as my eye liner and then I apply lashings of my Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye mascara ($28). Finally, I use any of the NYX Butter Glosses, today I used Strawberry Parfait on my lips. Voila, that's my entire face done. It might seem like a lot of steps but it takes me 15 mins from start to finish.
  15. Does anybody know a good home remedy for Blackheads? One that really works and uses ingredients that are not hard to find. Thank you!
  16. Hello folks, I've been on the search for a sort of all-purpose moisturizing salve of sorts, but with the one little fact that it has to be face-friendly. Dry skin is something I have to deal with (not too bad during the summer months, but the ridiculously cold temps that us Central Canadians deal with in the winter leaves my skin completely parched - flaky, red and painful - cute). I use virgin coconut oil for moisture after every wash and love it to pieces, but I'm looking for that travel-friendly, all-purpose-but-still-kind-to-the-finicky-skin sort of salve, or balm. I'm going to be flying overseas this winter and I'm already dreading the Sahara-dry air of the flights, so this has been fueling my search as well. In my head I imagine something thicker, more balm-like than anything. Although I'd prefer to stick to a more budget-friendly route, I'm up for all suggestions (and I'm a DIY-addict!). Show me your products lovely people! C: -D

  18. Found a cool new site for discount and wholesale cosmetics. they seem to be adding new stuff all the time. I see lots of different brands from NYX, Hard Candy to Dior, Smashbox and Urban Decay. Reasonable. http://rockstardiscountcosmetics.tictail.com/
  19. The majority of the time my skin is clear with a few bad spots here and there. I finally got it all cleared up for prom but then BAM three days before Prom my skin starts to get random breakouts in addition to small bumps which can only mean one thing: more pimples to come. Hooray. I'm aware of all the home acne treatments that are out there. I'm just wondering what works the FASTEST. Thanks!
