-Mac Prolongwear concealer NC30

-Mac Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium/dark or whatever its called OR MUFE duo mat powder in 303?

Yes agree with litra6, Smashbox primers are great! Also like Cinema Secrets but it's harder to find.

My makeup regimen is A LOT. I work at a makeup school so I always have to be "on" lol.

I wear:

Moisturizer from Embryolisse

Foundation - LOREAL Infalliable (I like heavier coverage, I find it to be the best!)

Graftobian concealer

Powder - Makeup Forever HD

Bronzer from The Balm "Bahama Mama"

Blush from The Balm "Frat Boy"

Mascara from MAC Zoomlash

Liner from Makeup For Ever Aqua Liner

then... shadow! Typically like using a cream (Cannot get enough of "Trophy" by MAC), then whatever colors I'm looking to have that day!

Same for lipstick and gloss -- I love hot pink and red lipsticks!

Basic, everyday face: Hard Candy Sheer Envy primer, with Dr. Brandt's Pores No More pore refiner (Original) just on the nose & cheeks right beside my nose. Bobbi Brown Regular TM. Spot conceal: Maybelline Dream Mousse or Hard Candy Glamouflage concealer. Blush/highlight/bronzer/contour - it varies. Somedays just blush & bronzer or blush & highlight, or blush, contour & highlight if I have a lot of time. Colours vary. (In a rush eye) Benefit Lemon Aid all over the lid with a matte neutral shadow or bronzer in the crease, and liner. (Most days) NARS Smudgeproof base with MAC Bare Study or NARS Cosmic Girl as a base, or Stila Prime Pot in Taffy, followed by a couple of neutral shades, and liner. MUFE AquaEyes #23L in the lower waterline, with YSL Touche Eclat under the eye. Maybe some Neutrogena 3-in-1 concealer under the eyes if it was a rough night. MAC MSFN. Mascara - CG Natureluxe Mousse, Neutrogena Healthy Volume, Maybelline F&S. Laura Mercier Cakeliner in Black Ebony to tightline. Brows - Benefit Brow-Zings!, Benefit Instant Brow pencil, or Maybelline Define-a-Brow, followed by Maybelline Great Lash Clear. Carmex, followed by MAC P&P Lip then LOTD (again, varies.) Avene Thermal Water to set. Clubbing, nights out, dates: MUFE HD#5 primer, followed by Dr. Brandt’s pore refiner, nose and inner cheeks again. Bobbi Brown Skin foundation. Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage concealer on any spots. Revlon Age Defying cream concealer, followed by YSL Touche Eclat. MUFE AquaEyes #23L in the crease. Cheeks, eyes, & lips all vary – see above. MAC MSFN to set, with a bit of MUFEHD loose powder in the T-Zone if it’ll be a long night. Mascara – Prestige My Biggest Lashes, or Revlon Grow Luscious. Hard Candy 1000 Lashes & YSL Faux Cils #9 Noir Radical if I’ve decided to wear lashes (usually Ardell #301 or #305 half-lashes) Laura Mercier Cakeliner in Black Ebony to tightline. Brows still the same. Lip procedure still the same. Avene Thermal Water to set. VERY special occasions, when I need to look flawless: MUFE HD#5 or Clarins Beauty Flash Balm for primer, Dr. Brandt’s pore refiner again on nose & inner cheeks. Chanel Pro Lumiere foundation. Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage on spots. Revlon Age Defying cream concealer, with YSL Touche Eclat, and MUFE AquaEyes #23L in the lower waterline. Skip the highlighter with this foundation, cream blush if worn. MUFEHD to set foundation. Blush, bronzer, eye, lip, etc. procedure same as above, but vary according to look and mood. Mascara and lashes, if applicable from BB Skin/clubbing routine. Avene Thermal Water to set.

It changes day by day, but my staples are:

Facial lotions

UD eyeshadow primer

Liquid Eyeliner pen (using Japanese brand Proofit right now)

Urban Decay Zero pencil for bottom line

Various UD eyeshadows

Diorshow mascara

Loreal concealer

Stila tinted moisturizer

Nars orgasm blush

NYX glitter palette

lip gloss or other random brand lipstick

Everyday (school) routine (done in 15 mins or less):

  • Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit
  • Maybelline Mineral Power Natural Perfection Concealer
  • Eyeshadow - Maybelline, Covergirl, The Color Workshop, LA Colors, Avon, Wet N Wild, Rimmel (depends on my outfit)
  • Eyeliner (on certain days) - Avon, Wet N Wild
  • Mascara - Maybelline, Covergirl, Mally, Revlon (depends on which day, like some days I need my waterproof mascaras)

Amazingly this seemingly short routine takes 15 minutes and uses up a huge portion of my 30 mins to get ready for school in the morning - I sacrifice breakfast time for makeup!

Ya I am a makeup minimalist because I believe you don't need a billion products to make yourself look good ^^

Special Occasions routine (done in 20-25 mins):

  • Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit
  • Covergirl powder
  • Maybelline Mineral Power Natural Perfection Concealer
  • Eyeshadows
  • Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush
  • Avon ColorTrend Eyeliner
  • Mascara
  • Lipgloss

Synchronized Swimming Meet routine (done in 15-25 mins)

  • Meh, it's really the same as my school routine except everything's waterproof

everyday make up for work (takes an hour cause i do it on the train ride to work... i refuse to wake up at 5 just to do my make up.. it would probably take a bit less time but trains are shaky and i can only use one hand/other hand holds mirror)

- smashbox photo finish primer

- either dermablend smooth indulgence or estee lauder maximum cover (the older version) foundation

- hard candy nobody's perfect concealer palette (sometimes)

- mufe hd powder (BEST product i bought since i got my naked palette this past may)

- thebalm hot mama bronzer & either nars orgasm or thebalm hot mama (i use my nars blush for the mirror as it has a good size and i can hold it well, but i also have the "big mama" palette so i kind of play it by ear with those 2 blushes.. then again, they're almost identical"

- naked palette for me eyes, colors vary & the wet n wild vanity palette (lightest matte shade) to highlight (+ UDPP and/or NYX milk jumbo pencil)

- black or brown milani liquif'eye liner

- l'oreal voluminous lashes mascara

- wet n wild color icon pencil to fill in eyebrows (taupe) & nyx wax pencil to set them (works like a charm!!)

- nyx lip liner in natural

- neutral/not too flashy lips (currently i use either joe "nude" (matte), NYX soft matte lip creme "antwerp", NYX tinted lip spa "juicy" or revlon's lustrous gloss in "firecracker".. or a mix of some of those)

i believe that is it... i work in an office and have to look "polished"

when i go out, it's pretty much the same but i might use some other eyeshadow/maybe something with color (i swapper for the UD BOS II a few weeks ago and have been using that a lot on the weekends), and i also wear bright red or bright pink lipstick.

also, for work, i sometimes pack a different blush. i try to pack a new make up bag every weekend so i get to use all my products on a regular basis, but with some of my blushes i feel like they'd explode in my bag >.<

Mine seems very extensive:

Aloe Vera gel

Revlon Colourstay foundation in Ivory

A rosy lipstick as blush (helps create a flawless finish)

Setting powder (I'm actually in the market for a new one if anyone has any recommendations. )

If I blend away my blush (which does happen) I put on a bit of powder.

A nude lipstick

Neutral eyeshadow.

Grey eyeliner on the waterline and slightly winged off.

1. Clean & Clear Dual Action Moisturizer

2. OCC Primer

3. OCC Tinted Moisturizer

4. MAC Studio Fix Concealer

5. ELF HD Finishing Powder (temporary until I find something with lower silica content that works as well)

6. Too Faced Shadow Insurance

7. Inglot Eyeshadow '328' for lid

8. Inglot Eyeshadow '353'/MAC 'Phloof' for Highlight

9. MAC 'Bamboo' Eyeshadow for Crease

10. NYX 'Black' Eyeshadow for Eyebrows

11. NYX 'Clear' Mascara for Eyebrows

12. Revlon 'Blackest Black' Liquid Eyeliner

13. Clinique 'Black' High Impact Curling Mascara

14. OCC 'Glisten' Loose Powder for Blush

15. OCC Lip Tar (usually either 'Trick' or 'Vintage') on the Lips

Granted, in the winter I usually cut steps 2,3, and 5 out of sheer laziness. But that's the usual 'natural' look in that order, lol.

I didn't know OCC came out with a tinted moisturizer. I'm so going to have to try that!

Recently:

Eucerin Spf 30 Day Lotion for Sensitive Skin (with Zinc and Iron Oxides)

Jojoba Oil to spot Moisturize any areas that are dry/flakey

Olay Regenerist Eye firming Serum

Missha M BB Cream in #21 (hate the color, love the finish)

-or-

Estee Lauder Doublewear in Bone (love the color, hate the finish)

Neutrogena Light Reflecting Concealer pen

Powder finish with Everyday Minerals in Luminizing Sunlight (sometimes)

Maybelline Lash Stiletto

Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain in Crave

Carmex Lip Balm

For my eyes, I usually use one of three colors:

Covergirl "Tapestry Taupe"

Mac "Grain"

or ELF mineral eyeshadow in Elegant (if I want something shimmery)

EL Doublewear makes a great eyeshadow base. That stuff does not budge on my eyelids!

woooohoo finally people who wear as much makeup as I do everyday! lol  I've been talking to girls who wear not one fleck of make-up on their face and it's been making me feel guilty..

my regimen-

Revlon Colorstay Foundation

Mac MSF- Natural Powder

Nars Laguna Bronzer to contour

Nars Orgasm Blush

Nars Albatross highlighter for brow bone and cheekbones and tear duct

MUFE Setting Powder

MAC Espresso for brows

MAC paintpot as primer on the eye

MAC Honey Lust E/S for the lid

MAC Cork E/S for the crease and bottom lash line

MAC Smolder Kohl to line the top eye, then Fluidline in Blacktrack to go over it

Loreal Voluminous Mascara

Sometimes a gloss.....like Buxom lip gloss or a MAC gloss or Revlon Super Lustrous

Clinique All About Eyes Rich

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion

Micabella Mineral Powder Foundation in Lady Godiva

Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden

Lise Watier Havana Bronzer

NYX HD Grindng Blush in Menage a Trois

Micabella Mineral Eyeshadow in Daydream

Marcelle Waterproof Eye Pencil in Fairytale Pink

Lise Watier 24 HRS Glam Mascara in Noir

Blistex, Wet'n'Wild 901B and Quo Glass Gloss in Tiffany

....and usually brown winged eyeliner, using Lise Watier Metamorphix Liquid Transformer the dark brown in the Maybelline Natural Smokes quad I've had for ages, and a light frosty pink Revlon color to highlight, I think its the lightest color in the Blushed Wines quad. I use a mix of the light taupey color and the lightish brown in Maybelline's Designer Chocolates quad for my brows. Weird combo, but it works perfect for the color my hair is right now, as I discovered this when my usual pencil got lost. I use a little of my Lise Watier Metamorphix for this as well...

These are my go-to products lately, when I don't feel like going too crazy  :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Of course for a night out or special day there is more end make up, but this is the day to day version and how it always starts

1. wash and gently scrub face because dead skin catches in foundation.

2. moisturizer C. Booth derma 24 antioxidant daily.... it is oil free so does not affect my finish and never breaks me out even on days I slather it on.

3. brush teeth while moisturizer absorbs.

4. apply foundation with brush lancome tein idole ultra

5. Powder under eyes Revlon skin lights loose

6. powder rest of face MUFE HD powder

7. Fill in eyebrows with powder and brush.....

8. gently lift off any dead skin flakes with tweezers then Mufe full cover concealer on any blemish/spots/scars

9. Curl eyelashes, then mascara (type varies)

10. lip gloss or lipstick, it varies

Oh yeah! And the best part about the tinted moisturizer is that if you're afraid that you may in between shades, it's flexible enough to provide the right coverage at the right tone. In general I find 2-3 drops of this stuff does it's job on my face just like a foundation and kills any need for me to use concealers for the undereye area or around my nose.

Well, today I used:

Smashbox Primer

Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush in Pink Satin

MAC Studio Fix NW20

I used a Pixi Palette for Eyeshadow and Blush (I did a sort of bronze-y eyeshadow and glowy pink cheeks)

I used UD Big Fattie Mascara..

That's pretty much what I do. I will switch up the eyeshadow and blush but everything else remains basically the same!
