Techniques For Applying Eyeliner

Applying eyeliner can be difficult at best, but there are proven techniques that if followed, should give fabulous results. To look good, natural, apply a thin line of eyeliner on the lower eyelid. Then mix with a brush if necessary. For, the most comprehensive eye looking around, are first applied to the upper lid, making a thicker line in the center of the lid with a pencil or liquid eyeliner. Now, mixed with a brush if necessary to give a smoother line. For eyes that look bigger, line only the outer half of the upper and lower eyelids. If you opt for the dramatic look, apply a thick line of eyeliner on the upper and lower eyelids, blending with a brush if necessary. For small eyes, use eyeliner on the upper eyelid as to avoid closing the eyes more. On the outside of the eyelid, use light colors to give shape and definition. Beneficial artificial eyelashes to help open the eyes and make lashes appear thicker. For heavy eyelids, use light colors only on the orbit. Apply false eyelashes to lift the corners of the eyes and help to make them appear more open and spacious. If you looked close to the inside cover, you should use light colors. While the outer cover to be used in dark colors. Mixture of light to dark brush, blending darker shades up. Eyeliner use on the outer half of the eye. Eyebrows should be shortened in the nose to help create a wider gap between the eyes. If the deep-set eyes, use light colors only on the orbit of the eye, use a slightly darker shade above the crease of the eye socket. Eyeliner use on both the upper and the lower eyelid, the lines to soften the mixture. Mascara or artificial eyelashes is beneficial to help highlight your eyes more. For round eyes, use light colors in the orbit and in the crease of the eye, blend in a darker shade. Apply eyeliner on the upper and lower lids and apply mascara on the upper and outer lashes only. For hazel eyes, use a light shade of mascara to the front. Use medium Hue on the lid and a darker color on the outer third of the eyelid. Finally, here are some makeup tips for more mature eyes. Avoid black eyeliner and mascara because it can be too hard. Instead of opting for soft neutrals like gray or brown for a beautiful softer appearance.

Thanks for all this great information. I didn't see this post prior to my post asking about eyeliner. I just realized I have no brown mascara and need to buy some asap. Love this post so much!!
