Mint for acne?

I recently learned that oily skin or dandruff may not always be blamed for acne breakouts. If you have a stressful life, it leads to rise in cortisol that eventually gives rise to acne. Anyways, with such a hectic and competitive life, stress is unavoidable but we can use some remedies to cure the acne. Somebody told me that mint leaves are good for treating acne. Is it true and if yes, how to use it?

I'm not sure, but I do know that putting a bit of mint toothpaste ( Not whitening ) overnight helps reducing pimples redness and also reduces it;s size /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> 

I use mint toothpaste on breakouts~
