I'm trying to get a new brush set what should I get?

I want to buy my first brush set but what brand do you guys suggest?

MAC brushes are great. So are Sigma brushes. Sephora and Crown Brush have lower priced brushes. I have some brushes from Target also (Sonia Kashuk and Eco Tools) and they have been fine too, not as higher quality but work.

The only thing I could add to the brands that Reija has already suggested is the Real Techniques original collection (not the bold metals as they are pricey and I haven't really liked them). I have used them for over a year now and love them, I use them daily. I like synthetic bristles so these have been my favorites so far. I got the starter set for face and the one for eyes, love the case they came in.
