Makeup Artist Starter Kit

I have been looking for the best starter kit for the best money. I do not preference Mac over Makeup 4ever over Smashbox, etc. I just want to find a great starter kit... I know they are expensive and would like opinions on the best one...

Hi, the best kit is one you make yourself.  If you stick with one brand you're limited with your options.  MAC, Makeup Forever and others have kits, but you might not like everything they sell.

Also, there's nothing wrong with drug store kits.  Just use the products that you LOVE, that way you always feel good using it.  If you feel good, chances are, your work will show it.

In make-up school they give you a basic kit, but you keep adding to it so it becomes your starter kit.
