What is your best lipstick?

Recommended Posts

Revlon Colorstay, Ultimate Seude is my fave and I have one of the nude shades....It's that awesome. Since my lips aren't that moist, it gets a little dry after application. But people who don't have such dry lips issue, this is a sure go. It's LONG LASTING! Even throughout the day, it doesn't fade off. Anyone who hasn't tried nude shades, that should be next sweet thing you should be doing. Check this link out to find awesome shades of nude lipsticks and their reviews. But, once you check, you're sure to be tempted to buy one of those very soon.

I like using lip palettes, as they are thin (easy to carry in a purse) some even come with a lip brush, plus you have 5 to 6 lip colours all in one place, as opposed to having a bunch of tubes cluttering your purse or bag. And they are affordable!  B)

I love wet n wild mega last lipsticks! Clinique makes great lipsticks too. I have a couple from essence that are nice too. My latest obsession are the too faced melt lipsticks. I cant just pick one.

Probably the best one I own is the christian louboutin lipstick.I only bought one because their 90 dollars each plus shipping cost but its a really nice lipstick good quality / long lasting feels nice on and the colors vibrant they dont give you much product its like a small lipstick with a fancy design / packaging but I did like the end result overall.

Bobbi Brown Luxe Lip Color lipsticks are my current favorites, followed by Colourpop Lippiestix.

I like the Colourpop lippiestix too. I was able to finally order one of the Jeffree Star liquid lipsticks. I'm interested in trying the formula to see how it compares. The nude shade is in stock on their website.

I have literally over 100 lipsticks. I know ridic. My favorite are Revlon and MAC. I have high end ones from Too Faced, NARS, Armani, etc but MAC and Revlon are my favorite brands. If you have an Estee Lauder outlet near you , you can get MAC pretty inexpensive. I cannot speak to Wet n Wild bc I don't find them all too great. Revlon is pretty inexpensive. You could also try Milani or Rimmel

I absolutely love all shades/colors of lipsticks and trying out new products. Recently I compared a few products via online reviews before deciding to purchase the Jeffree Star matte velour liquid lipsticks. Stunning and stay on for hours without reapplication! Worth the little bit extra at $17-18 each. I purchased 4 colors and you can see them swatched on my blog at https://thelazylipsticklife.com/

You will LOVE them! :)

Sugar Matte as Hell Crayon - It’s highly pigmented, glides on my lips smoothly & easily. The best part of this lipstick is though it is a matte lipstick; it doesn't leave the lips dry. Make sure to moisturize your lips before you apply the crayon. People compliment me whenever I apply these stunning lip colours. I have two shades of these crayons. Both shades are very smooth in texture, give super matte finish, long lasting. My favourite one is rose Dawson is a beautiful rosy pink shade which u can wear daily. I am a big fan of sugar crayons

I generally prefer for the Elle brands for lipstick and the second one that I prefer is Maybelline. In my eyes both the brands are the best if we talk about lipsticks. Also, these brands have all unique type of lipstick shades and I am always excited about there new launches.

I'm obsessed with BITE BEAUTY's matte creme lip crayon - it makes my lips look super plush and the colors are so pigmented. They look great with dark skin color that need extra pigment - and they last all day. I carry one where ever I go.

    • Hey! I don't really use primers but I'm sure someone else who will come across this post might be able to answer!  For the oily skin, I would recommend putting setting powder on your face, mist it with setting spray (Lightly) THEN apply foundation.. give that a try. Also a great tip for oily skin is use waterproof mascara instead of normal... as normal mascara will transfer onto your under eye area over time and upper lid due to oils.  Also Mac foundation has great coverage for any blemish and scarring. I'm just looking on google now and it seem to highly recommend Charlotte Tilbury's airbrush foundation.. I know that brand is more on the pricy side.. but its worth checking in store and getting one of the girls there to do a test on your skin before purchasing.  Hopefully theres something useful you can take from this. let me know if you come across other tips that work!  x  Linda
    • @Beautybyluo Yes!  I use and love ELF 16HR Camo Concealer in "fair" since my so pale.  The coverage on this concealer is great.

    • Cleansers Just like you wash your hair and body, it’s important to use a cleanser (made just for your face) to wash your skin. Rabach recommends cleansing twice daily. “Cleansing helps remove dead skin, reduce oils in acne prone skin, remove buildup of bacteria and yeast that live on the skin, remove pollutants that collect on the skin during the day, and remove all makeup, so pores do not get clogged.” she says. We think that’s motivation enough.   Toner First things first: if you want to keep your routine quick, skip this step! If not, we like a toner to: 1. truly make sure the skin's got a perfectly clean canvas post-cleansing and 2. either add hydration or exfoliation to our routine. Dr. Rabach recommends making sure your toner is oil-free.   Serum Serums are one of the best ways to address your personal skin concerns. "A VIta a to Zee Vitamin C serum is a skincare product designed to deliver a high concentration of a specific active ingredient to the skin," dermatologist Dr. Zeichner says, adding that they're usually designed to "perform a single job, whether that is to hydrate, protect, brighten, calm, or even the skin." It's important to make sure you're choosing a serum that's actually right for you. One thing dermatologists agree on is using an antioxidant serum (like Vitamin C) in the morning.
    • i guess all the products of FACES CANADA are just so good. i have been using it for like 6 years now and it is up to date till now. i would surely recommend you to use this..
