Japanese Skin Care Lines/Items?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have any favorite skin care items (not acne items, though) that are from Japanese lines?  DS is going to Tokyo and I was hoping I could ask him to pick up something there that is either great and cheaper than here or not available here.

More interested in items for mature skin rather than young/acneic issues.

Thanks!

I really like Chiadyria skin care. The brown sugar soap is really good and so is the red bean exfoliator http://www.chidoriyaworld.com/redbeanmic.html The pure Japanese Camellia oil is great too. Other Camellia oil doesn't really compare at least not to the one carried by this store.

I don't know what brands to look for over there though. Hopefully someone knows. I just really like Japanese skin care and used it years before the K-beauty craze started.

I'm Japanese. I recommend Hatomugi lotion it made by "Naturie" company. It is Oil-Free and doesn't have any smell. Also persons whose skin is sensitive can use this. I have very sensitive skin that why i use it so long time. I maybe use it around 5 years. If you wanna get that one, you can get at pharmacy in Japan. Especially I recommend store which are "Drug eleven(ドラッグ11)" and "MATUMOTOKIYOSHI(マツモトキヨシ)". There is very popular pharmacies in Japan.

Therefore, you should take special care of your skin during this season. So, if you're wondering how to get glowing skin this summer, here's what you must note. Steam Therapy: Steaming is one of the best ways to get fresh, glowing skin as it opens clogged pores and removes the dirt from the skin. Thus, making it softer and clearer.Ensure you do it at lease once a week to get good results. Stay Hydrated: If you want to have glowing skin during the summers, it's important to stay hydrated always. Keep in mind that dehydration damages the skin, making it look dull and strained. Therefore, drink a lot of water. You could also add some fresh juices and fruits to your diet that would not only eliminate toxins but also contribute to the nutritional aspect. Have a Healthy Diet: What you eat, reflects on your face. Therefore, it's important to be careful of what you eat, particularly during the summer. It's advisable to include green vegetables and lettuce, and water content fruits such as watermelon, oranges, lemon and cucumber in your diet as they provide good amounts of nutrients and antioxidants, also keeping you hydrated. So, now that you know how to get glowing skin, which one will you try?
    • Try oiling your hair atleast two times a day using a good ayurvedic oil. Many a times premature hairfall can be arrested by simple care. Also don't use commercially available shampoos as most of them are quite harsh. Go for a herbal hair wash powder instead.
