Sephora Play! January 2017 box *Spoilers*

Recommended Posts

I just cancelled my Play subscription today, wasn't very content with my box curations for the past months and needed a break. But, I felt a bit sad immediately and shopped online at Sephora.com to ease the guilt :D
I am sure they will have an amazing curation in January and I will regret leaving them.

Hehe you sound like me. When I cancelled IPSY I went shopping on their site afterwards to try and snag some deals while my account was still active :-D.

Here is the theme for the January Play box. Looks like a hair product sample for sure.

Here are some pictures of my bag/variations:

Cute bag, would be cute to keep hair ties and headbands in for the gym

The amore pacific colors are a little off for me, I won't use the Ouai hair mask :(

Everything else is a win, I plan to try the mask tonight!

My box came today. I'm so glad to back with the Play box even though some of the samples are a hit or miss for me.

Well, this box paid for itself and then some this month. I had just bought a little kit with the Black Honey Almost Lipstick, plus another shade and two lip scrubs. It was on sale for $25 and the full lipsticks are $17 or $18, so I figured why not. But all I really wanted was the Black Honey, so when it came in the box I returned the set (didn't even open it).

Has anyone gotten a sample that was damaged? My Clinique sample is almost non-existent and I was wondering if there is anything I can do about getting a replacement? With Birchbox, I can usually just send them and email and get a replacement.

Thanks!

Thanks!

I got a perfume sample that was shattered in my first box, they refunded me the cost of the box, but didn't replace the sample.

Thanks!

Contact them via Twitter, it's the fastest and the most helpful. I have received damaged/empty samples a few times before, they didn't send replacement/refund but gave some points instead.

    • Careprost is a regenerating agent that was originally developed to treat hypotrichosis and restore healthy eyelash growth. The product is a sterile solution that should be applied externally, treating them with the growth lines of the upper eyelashes and eyebrows.  Perfect eyelashes complete the look of your eyes; they add beauty to you and make you look attractive. Fuller eyelashes not only define your eyes but also sharpen your facial features. Eyes with long lashes look bigger and brighter. Whatever might be your skin’s complexion, your sharp features make you glow even in your dark skin color. The cosmetic market has a wide variety of eyelashes of different colors, length, density, and curvy ones etc. which you can wear with ease. But are these fake eyelashes are much being easier to apply or they are actually hassled. Putting fake eyelashes is a tough task and make the process troublesome is to make them intact for a long duration, controlling your hands to not to touch them. Using fake eyelashes is a temporary solution; it does not give you a natural look.
    • Yeah I totally agree  that the trends of fashion of clothes is growing with the passage of time so it's needed for everyone of clothes as make your appearance very obvious and awesome ..
    • Yes, it is quite good. Why do you ask this?
    • But what if she CAN'T afford experimenting with different products? That might really make the situation worse and harm her hair even more... Same with home remedies. If your really want to change your hairstyle then hair extension is a good option because you won't damage your hair and scalp. You can actually lookup the tutorials on the web, but videos on Youtube are more descriptive.
