Thoughts on wearing lipstick when having braces

Recommended Posts

I was actually searching this forum for some feedback because i saw an ad on clear braces on Facebook - www.smilelove.me is in Canada now. Has anyone heard of this type of business? They send a kit so you make an impression of your teeth by yourself.

Yes, bold colors will also look good. I think you should learn to own yourself. I didn't find any issue with braces and using lipstick. Yup, I've used braces as a teenager. Also, saw many girls who use bold color lipsticks with braces and look pretty.

I think that bold colors on someone with braces would look great! I've never had braces, but the only concern that I can think of is the color transferring to the braces, like getting lipstick on your teeth. To make sure this doesn't happen, I'd recommend using lipsticks that stay put. Long-lasting matte liquid lipsticks seem like they'd be a good choice.

As long as the color stays put, I'd say that anyone can where any color they want!

I guess bold colours look Babe on people with braces, with respect to dress they wear.

If you are fair use light shades also dresses plays an important role so red lipsticks usually go on every shade of dresses.

Yeah there is nothing wrong to wear lipstick with braces. I myself used to wear lipstick with braces and it looked perfectly fine. Some of my friends have braces and they wear bold lipstick colors & they look amazing. I think braces have nothing to do with lipsticks. Wear what you like and be yourself. That is the best thing you can do :)

    • I want to know what are some of your biggest frustrations with your hair! This could be styling issues, texture issues, products that aren't working, I want to hear anything and everything!
    • Hey! Honestly, I think most people's hair issues come down to the products they are using. Almost all hair products out there are only able to coat the hair strand, instead of penetrate the hair strand and heal the hair from the inside out. About 6 months ago I switched all of my hair products over to an all-natural luxury hair care line, and my hair has never been healthier! These products have also enhanced my natural texture (which used to be non-existent, but now I can actually scrunch my hair!), and so I think they would really help define your natural waves to make your hair look nicer the way it is naturally! • Hey!  So I discovered a new all-natural luxury hair care line that I started using about 6 months ago, and it has seriously made my hair so healthy. I have fine hair too, and it is so nice to finally have a conditioner that keeps my hair so moisturized and shiny without weighing it down and making it look greasy. I would love to share more about these products with you! If not, no worries
    • Hi!  I would agree with what someone said about adding some texture to make your hair fuller. You could try sleeping in braids at night to add a little texture without heat! I would also say that the products you are using are going to make a big difference. Personally, I switched all of my hair products to a new all natural luxury hair care line, and I can truly say that my hair has never been better. My hair is thicker, so shiny, so healthy, and growing faster than ever! I would absolutely love to share these products with you and some testimonials about how these products have helped other women with thinning hair! Feel free to reach out I would love to chat
    • Hey girl! I used to seriously struggle with split ends. I have really fine/straight hair, and split ends are really noticeable. Practically, I would say try to only use heat on your hair once a week, and if you are using heat make sure to put on a heat protectant first!  About 6 months ago I switched ALL of my hair products over to a new all natural luxury hair care line, and let me tell you, my hair is the best it has ever been. One of my favorite products is actually called a "split-end mender" and it literally just makes the split ends go back together and leaves your hair so smooth! It's obviously not a quick fix (because who would trust that anyway), but my hair is so hydrated, healthy, shiny, and it is growing faster than ever. The products you are putting on your hair make a HUGE difference. Let me know if you want to hear more
