These days, makeup for men is becoming increasingly popular for that groomed shaved handsome looks of ramp models that make the men so desirable. Here are some tips that men can use:

Use either white pressed powder or foundation similar to your skin tone as base.

Mustaches and beards do not go well with foundation and eye shadow. So choose one or the other.

A black kohl line under the eyes and sparing use of eye shadow can do for men so you do not look overdone.

For particular looks, you may try body painting on forehead and cheeks along with glitters.

Lipsticks in natural colors are good enough and it is better to use darker shades. However, the color depends on skin, eye and hair color and your hair cut and style.

Do not use the same group of colors for lips and eyes for example dark red lipstick and black eyeshade and never ever use black lipstick.

For photo sessions, replace foundation with bronzing gel on the bearded area. You can dust cheeks with bronze powder too for the sun-tanned look. Use only clear or sheer tint of lip gloss. Concealers, fine eyeliner line and black mascara may be used.

Choose blue or yellow-based colors after determining the undertone of your skin. You can seek professional advice to know the correct colors

I think, in many cases, men can actually benefit more from makeup.

Men with large pores on the nose and the cheeks can make use of a powdery foundation for a cover-up. Also, a concealer covers up pimples or under-eye dark circles. I have a male friend who once asked me to suggest a concealer for his very dark circles around eyes.

I also read that there are more and more men who wear a little bit of foundation or bronzer, and that these men are usually in the business sector, where looking young, energetic, and presentable is important.

haha I want my bf to wear some makeup!! But he wont!! I want to see what he looks like with mascara and eyeliner!!

For a couple of times, I put makeup on my boyfriend (eyeshadow+blush+lipgloss...) just before he went for a shower. It was just for fun. But he did like the feel of the makeup brushes. Of course he did...I use good brushes! ^_^ /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
