Question about shadow colors for Fall/Winter

Hi everyone,

So, I was wondering would it look bad or weird to wear bright colors now? I mean, I've always heard that in the winter you are suppose to wear darker colors, but I recently found a combo of bright colors (green, purple and this greenish dark blue shadow, all from mac) that I love! Is it okay to wear or would it be a sin?

I never go by trends or anything, I wear bright colors regardless of what season it is.

Go for it! Besides, if you've checked out the latest Sephora catalogue, they're really pushing the bright colors for winter. It's a nice break from the "smokey eye" and "nude face with red lip" that is always so common in winter.
