Where can I download free music from?

where can I download free music? and is there a way to get it into my itunes? thanks

I just dl'ed songs yesterday off of Limewire. I transfered the songs into a folder, then opened up Itunes and dragged the songs into the transfer screen. I really suck at explaining things, so I hope this helps!

Any music that you download can be imported into iTunes. You just have to move them from the default folder of the application that you are using and drop them into iTunes.

I don't know much about moving it into itunes.

but i personally hate limewire, i use morpheous.

yep..limewire..there are other sites too i can't think of the names..frostwire is another... you'll have to download the program off the net & then transfer your songs over to itunes!

the big problem with limewire is with spyware. if you must run limewire do yourself a favor and get both Spybot Search and Destroy (S&D) and Adaware. just google them and they are both free! do a system checkout once a week. otherwise spyware can screw up your system real bad .

There are other options too. There is something called Direct Connect and there are plenty of private servers you can go to.

Just be aware that wherever you get the latest albums from the RIAA is still suing people. so be careful

I use Azureus for torrents, it works pretty good. Limewire had too much spyware.

I gave up on Limewire, spyware was everywhere.

But you can download a lot of stuff legally. Check out record label and band websites. Most have a music section and have mp3 files that you can download. Usually this is with smaller bands and not top 40 artists but at least it's legal.

you need to constantly update it and run it at least once a week.

Be careful on downloading free music on internet, you could risk either your computer or yourself.

We cannot download any free illegal song here Japan, otherwise my provider will shutdown my internet connection if they found out.

I download a crap load of music from limewire and I never got anything on my pc.

I use Mp3 Rocket and Shareaza

I've had limewire on my computer for a few years now and I download music at least once a week and I've never had any problems with spyware or anything like that.

Downloading Porn from Limewire and such is what gives u spyware not music
