If you could request.....

Wouldn't it be great if you could request a company to create a seasonal shade for you? I know that you can get foundation blends from some but I'm thinking of other items that you see in other non mineral lines.

With so many smaller mineral makeup companies out there wouldn't it be great if they'd custom create colors for their clientelle? :rotfl:

Of course no company could honor every request, that would be absurd, but if seasonally a poll could be taken or if periodically customers could send pictures of mainstream colors and get those colors duplicated by a mineral company.

Maybe this already exists and I'm just not in the know.:kopfkratz:

I love how pure and intense they are with no chalkiness. I know they're are lots of fabulous colors already out there. I just haven't found dup's of these without a lot of glitter.

Problem is, to avoid a potential lawsuit, a small company should not purposely dupe another's product, especially stating that it is one, as long as that product is still available for purchase. I'd love to see a deep forest green color. Most colors I know aren't as dark as they appear-- boy, if I could get my hands on some forest green eyeshadow that was that color you posted up there WHEN applied, I'd be in heaven!

Believe me, I looked that site over for months before ordering from them and I am kicking myself for not trying both sites sooner.

Another thing, recently after receiving my order I had read somewhere on here that Milan minerals would create a color for you if you'd send a picture.

I just don't believe that most colors are protected by patent or under copyright by cosmetic companies. If so then I'd imagine Milani would be in deep mess for their Illusion blush as well as many other company's out there that have dupes to colors that are customer favorites.
