When it comes to handbags I am definitely guilty of just buying neutral colors. I am sure many of you are the same way too. It’s just so hard to spend money on a bag that you think isn’t going to match everything in your wardrobe, ya know? Deeply colored lips are a trend that I am in love with at the moment! It is a great in between seasons trend. You can rock a plum pucker now, but you can also continue to wear the shade throughout the Spring. Dark lips are something I have always been quite afraid of until recently. I never thought it was a look I could pull off.. but part of that was me not understanding the different shades and tones of darker lipsticks. For some reason I just looked at them all as a being an almost black purple and nothing else. Boy, was I wrong! Plum is a fabulous lip color that I think works for everyone. As I’m sure you all already know, the Golden Globes were Sunday night. There are tons of great shots on the blog of gorgeous celebs strutting their stuff on the red carpet. I highly suggest going to check them out if you haven’t already! Usually there are only a few looks that I like at awards shows, but this time I was loving almost all of them! For some of us, mascara has been a staple in our makeup routine since we were 16 years old… or longer. When we were young, all we cared about is the color and how FAT it made our lashes. As we get more “seasoned” and aware of the in’s and out’s of makeup. We also take into other aspects such as the brush, the formula, the ingredients, animal testing statements, and so on. NARS is definitely my favorite makeup line… but unfortunately I don’t own very much due to the higher price tags. Last week I splurged on their Tzarine Duo Eyeshadow, and I’m in love with it! They’re such gorgeous colors, especially the grey! Nonetheless, I love all of their products and I am BEYOND excited for their Spring 2012 collection! It’s so warm and peppy- just what I need for Spring and my Spring makeup trends! For the most part these are all colors and shades that are unlike any others from the brand, which is always refreshing compared to the worn out unoriginal choices of some companies. Yesterday was Kate Middleton’s 30th birthday! This royal leading lady has gained a huge fashion fan base over the past year. She knows how to rock the perfect mix of classy and conservative with runway ready! Kate was spotted with her hubby Prince William at the UK premiere of War Horse on Sunday night. She wore an incredible long-sleeved lace gown. I honestly can’t even find the right words to describe it. Lace is a huge trend right now and it will continue on through Spring for sure.
