I would just like to say I had the honour and privilege of doing Ms. Rivers' make-up on two occasions in August of 2002 in Toronto (Yeah, I keep all my daytimers...)
She was straight forward, very business-like, and polite. No she didn't laugh or tell any funny anecdotes while I was there. But I do remember she had this small pet dog on set with her which brought a smile to her face every time he interacted with her or one of the cast/crew members. And when she smiled or chuckled she relaxed...
A fond memory that flashed when I read of her passing...
