Absolute must-answers:

ALLERGIES!! Please list any allergies to products, foods, scents, etc., that you or anyone living in your household has!

Dietary restrictions: Do you or anyone in your household have any food-related restrictions/sensitivities, etc? Would you prefer not to receive food items? No food related allergies, food is fine!

Skin allergies/sensitivities: Do you or anyone in your household have any skin allergies/sensitivities not already listed that your Sugar Plum Fairy should know about (e.g., wool, metals in jewelry, etc)? Do you avoid silicone, sulfates, etc? I have fairly sensitive skin on my face, even some scrubs for “sensitive skin” will irritate it.  I avoid sulfates in hair products because I dye my hair. I’m fairly certain I have a nickel allergy. And I avoid a lot of scented stuff because it gives me migraines (in general, citrus/food scents tend to be okay, but floral scents set me off.)

Would you like to get a heads-up from a Fairy that your package is on its way, or would you prefer its delivery to be a complete surprise?  Whatever is easiest is okay with me.

Basic background information:

Style descriptions! Brief is better.

Makeup - I keep it pretty plain & simple. If I feel like it, I may break out a bold lip or a bright eyeliner.

Hair - It’s currently auburn & a little below my shoulders.  Very thick. Wavy to curly if I let it air dry

Nails - I like to have fun with my nails! They’re rarely naked. I probably get the most adventurous with my nails.

Skincare (face/neck) - I stick with an acne cleanser and then rotate through samples from Birchbox, etc for moisturizers/anti-aging. I haven’t found anything I love. I have combination skin on my face that’s prone to break-outs if I’m not careful.

Bodycare (every where else) - I use soap or body wash in the shower and body butter when I’m out.

Home - I like simple. Clean. To the point where everything that I pick out for the house is either a neutral or beige...my husband makes fun of me for it.

More advanced questions:

Solve for X: I am wearing too much nail polish, and I DO NOT CARE!

Cruelty-free or vegan. Important, must-have, nice, don't care? Nice. But it’s not something I really pay attention to if I’m being honest.

You just won a $50 gift card to your favorite beauty store. Which store is it, and what will you buy? Ulta - probably lip products and nail polish.

Please list any subscription boxes you receive, along with anything you may covet from recent boxes. Birchbox, Ipsy, Graze, Walmart….sometimes I get Rainbow Honey.

Assuming they are separately packaged and clearly labeled, what are your feelings on prepared-by-sender beauty items? Unsealed samples? Items from the bulk foods section? I’m okay with it.

Assuming the same dollar amount is spent, would you prefer several mini items, or one or two full-sized items?  Either, though I lean more towards mini items.

Brand-and-color-specific time!

What is your all-time favorite beauty item and why? I don't think I have an all-time favorite. It always seems like when I get attached to something they discontinued it. ...though I absolutely loved the color of Urban Decay lipstick in Wicked (though the taste was awful) and am bummed they don't make it anymore!

What specific product(s) are you lusting after? Feel free to link to a wishlist with particulars! My wishlist is all in Elfster, but I keep eyeing an eye shadow palette - I just have no idea which one I want or where to start!

What make-up items do you use every day? I put the stuff I use daily in my “likes” on Elfster

What are your holy grail items? Holy crap? I received a no frizz oil from Balanced Guru in my Ipsy bag earlier this year. That stuff is amazing, my hair looked awesome all Summer long!  And I live in Florida, land of humidity!

What one item/product are you interested in, but just haven't gotten around to trying? I have never used lip liner because I don't feel like matching colors. I'd love to try a nude lip-liner that I could use with anything.

General product section, aka not brand/color specific

What one product can you just not get enough of? Stuff for lips - lipsticks, glosses, crayons…just not stains.

What one product do you actually use more than any other? What runs out quickest in your make-up drawer? Concealer - I keep trying to coverup the dark circles under my eyes. Or make-up remover/cleansing cloths.

What product(s) can you absolutely not use at all for reasons other than allergies/sensitivities listed in the background section (e.g., I can't use foot scrubbers because my feet are too ticklish)? Black eyeliner. For whatever reason it looks way too harsh on me. It’s not a good look.

What items (makeup/skincare/tool) do you feel are missing from your routine? Primer - I’ve tried Porefessional, Dr Jart Pore Minimizer, Urban Decay BB Cream…nothing that I love.  I’d love to find a primer/BB Cream that I love with spf.

What tools/products are you looking to add, even if they are not missing? I have a mini (liquid) foundation brush and I’m trying to find a full-sized one.

What beauty-related product(s) do you just not want to receive? No perfume, black eyeliner, or lip/cheek stains please.

Brands:

What brand do you have more products from than any other? Any particular reason? Urban Decay. When I first got into makeup, it’s the brand I bought a lot of and I tend to gravitate towards it first.

What brand(s) have you been wanting to try but haven't gotten around to? Tarte

What brand(s) do you not want? I’ll try any.

Colors (not specific shades):

Answer quick like a bunny! Favorite color? A jewel-toned purple.

Favorite color combination? The colors of autumn leaves (deep reds, oranges, yellows…)

Color scheme of your home/room, either in reality or your imagination: Um, most of it is currently beige. We’re going to re-do our bedroom soon in beige (hah!) and a mint green.  And in the living room a tan (sort of beige) and shades of blue.

What one color (not brand/product specific) do you use more than any other? Why? I was on a binge for a while of adding red accents to everything. I try not to now, mostly because I’m now aware of it, but I still love it. (Mostly in home decor.) I also own a lot of black clothing - I bought a black & white patterned  shirt once and my husband commented that he liked it because he likes seeing me in color...

    Color(s) to avoid? None really.

Scents

What's your favorite perfume/wearable scent of all time? What's your favorite perfume/wearable scent to wear in the summer? I received Atelier Cologne in Cedrat Envirant in the Modern Mermaid Birchbox and love it.  It’s the only scent I wear. I’d love to try more of Atelier’s scents, but for how little I actually wear perfume, I can’t justify the cost.

What is the fragrance of your favorite home fragrance (e.g., candle, diffuser)?  I love the Apple Cider Yankee Candle

Describe your favorite scents/notes, without naming a specific perfume or fragrance. Citrus/fruit & other food (vanilla.)

Without naming a specific perfume or fragrance, what are your favorite perfume companies? Favorite home fragrance companies?  I guess Atelier Cologne? And probably Yankee Candle?

What form of perfume do you prefer (oil, alcohol-based, spray, open bottle, rollerball)? What form of home fragrance do you prefer (candle, diffuser, air freshener, plug-in)? Perfume - spray. Home - candle.

Other than perfume/fragrance oils, what is your favorite type of toiletry/scented item? I don’t think I have any others.

    Scent(s)/notes(s) to avoid? Floral

And finally (at least for the beauty section), Yes/No?

    Foils - Sure

    Deluxe Samples - Sure

    Hair Oil - No thanks

    Face Oil - no thanks

    Perfume - no thanks

Sunblock/Sunscreen - sure - I go through a lot! Especially this time of year

    Self-tanner/tanning wipes - no thanks

And extra non-makeup-related questions!

What designs/designers do you prefer (please limit to top 3) - Probably 75% of my wardrobe is from the LOFT. I wear solid colors or basic patterns. Timeless, classic.

List any public wishlists (Amazon, etsy, Sephora), swap lists and/or Tumbler/Pinterest entries your Sugar Plum Fairy should consult. Here’s my Pinterest boards:http://www.pinterest.com/kellyNOTamey/  Everything else I moved to Elfster

Is your box all about you? Or would you like to see things in your box for your significant other/spouse, kid(s), pet(s), whatever? If the latter, please list age/gender/species.  I am married, but I don’t think he’d really care if he was included or not (if you are so inclined, he's gotten really into shaving soaps lately.)  I also do have 1 fur-baby of the dog variety.     If your Sugar Plum Fairy curates an awesome set of items for you, would you rather they be wrapped individually, or be a huge smorgasbord that you can look at all at once? Would you prefer to open each gift slowly and methodically or will it be ribbons and bows and paper flying as you tear into it? However they want, I’m not picky!

It's a hot, sunny 90-degree summer day and you have no obligation to be anywhere in particular. Where are you and what are you doing? Honestly, down here that also probably means it’s ridiculously humid. So I’m most likely inside somewhere avoiding the heat.  Or if I’m feeling really adventurous, I’m over at the beach in the morning, but by afternoon I’m solidly indoors.

And advanced fun stuff:

What do you do in your spare time? Are there any hobby-related items you would like? I really like baking. But I don’t really need and/or want anything for it.

Fandoms, favorite TV shows, movies, books, music, Hogwarts house, etc.  I’m a geek. I love Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Sherlock, & Supernatural (I just discovered it this Summer and binge watched all Summer long.)  My celebrity crush is Captain America (not Chris Evans, just the character.)  And I’m a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan.

What non-beauty item(s) would send you over the moon? Anything Captain America or Eagles related.

    Pirates or ninjas? Pirates

Zombies: Yay or nay? I don’t really have a strong opinion one way or the other.

Disney! Favorite movie, hero, villain? Sleeping Beauty, Dumbo or Belle, Maleficent.

Describe three things decorating your living space. Beige walls, art-festival art, & souvenirs from traveling

Yes/no, the extras division:

    Virtual gifts (ecerts/gift certs/eBooks) - no thanks

Hand-made items (from your godparent or purchased) - sure!

Candles - maybe, depends on the scent

    Tarts - no thanks

    Reed Diffusers - no thanks

    Incense - no thanks

Other home fragrance (say, room spray or scented rocks) - I have never heard of a scented rock…but probably no thanks

Local Items - yes please! I would *love* this

Mix CD - I honestly wouldn’t appreciate it…I’m not that into music.

Home Items (and what types) - sure. Seasonal would be awesome!

Food Items (and what types) - sure, anything is good!

Beverages (and what types) - sure, anything

Puzzle Books -- words, numbers, pictures - probably not - it’d probably sit on my desk and never get used.

No real allergies or dietary restrictions. I do have a skin sensitivity to nickel and possibly other inexpensive filler metals (ala Claires), so I exclusively wear stainless steel/gold/silver just to avoid potential reactions. Also, my hair is colored so I do not use sulfates in shampoo. Oh, and my ears are NOT pierced, if that is relevant.

I would prefer a heads up that the package is on its way, but it is not 100% necessary. If you don’t give me a heads up, it is possible that I won’t check my mailroom until a day or two after the package has arrived.

Style descriptions! Brief is better.

Makeup – Generally neutral eyes with a bold lip, seasonal shades
Hair – Long bob (shorter in back, longer in front), light brown ombre, usually curled or intentionally beach-y waves

Nails – N/A (I do not wear nail polish)
Skincare (face/neck) – Basic (serum(s), moisturizer, eye cream, spot treatments, masks, etc.)
Bodycare (every where else) – Minimalistic

Home – Minimalistic, centered around the kitchen/scents/ambiance

More advanced questions:

    1) Solve for X: I am wearing too much lipstick, and I DO NOT CARE!

    2) Cruelty-free or vegan. Important, must-have, nice, don't care? – Nice, not necessary

    3) You just won a $50 gift card to your favorite beauty store. Which store is it, and what will you buy? – Sephora, I might buy some Bite Beauty lipsticks, one of the Fresh lip sugar holiday sets, or maybe a matte, neutral eyeshadow palette

    4) Please list any subscription boxes you receive, along with anything you may covet from recent boxes. – I sub to Birchbox and Ipsy, and I have a very extensive trade list (see signature) that includes recent things I have coveted

    5) Assuming they are separately packaged and clearly labeled, what are your feelings on prepared-by-sender beauty items? Unsealed samples? Items from the bulk foods section?

I don’t love the idea of DIY created beauty items, unless this is a very serious hobby/profession – for example, I know it is possible to make lipsticks out of crayons but I don’t really want to be sent one? But I wouldn’t mind homemade bath products or something. If you could sell it on etsy, I think it is totally fine to send me. J I don’t mind unsealed samples if they have not been used. I’m actually okay with certain swatched products, but it would have to be something I’m REALLY interested in (urban decay lippies, for example). I don’t really know what the “bulk foods section” is but it doesn’t sound bad??? I. Love. Food.

    6) Assuming the same dollar amount is spent, would you prefer several mini items, or one or two full-sized items? – I like a variety of small/mini items, but one or two super thoughtful full-sized items would also be great. It’s all about the curation, not exactly the number of items. Don’t worry – I am not picky!

Brand-and-color-specific time!

    1) What is your all-time favorite beauty item and why? – Wow this is SO hard. I can think of a favorite in every category haha. Definitely a tie between bb cream and concealer because having flawless/even skin is just so beautiful to me, and I don’t leave the house without AT LEAST concealer. But I also really love lipsticks – they just make me feel great.

    2) What specific product(s) are you lusting after? Feel free to link to a wishlist with particulars!

My Sephora wishlist: http://www.sephora.com/lovelist/165478429?om_mmc=oth-url-2013loves

LOL it is basically 95% lipsticks. Sorry! Also lusting after Lush soaps/scrubs/masks (but I don’t even know where to begin). I’ve also never tried a MAC lipstick, but I don’t even know where to start.

    3) What make-up items do you use every day? Most days I use: Mascara (brand varies a lot), Eyeshadow, Eyeliner, BB Cream with Beauty Blender, Concealer, Gimme Brow gel, Blush, sometimes translucent powder, and lipstick/stain/tint/etc

    4) What are your holy grail items? Holy crap?

Holy Grail: Missha BB Cream in No. 13, NYX Concealer in Porcelain, Benefit Gimme Brow, Liz Earle Cleanse, Urban Decay Primer Potion, Beauty Protector Shampoo/Conditioner, Benefit Porefessional, DDF Amplifying Exilir, Kate Somerville Exfolikate, Lime Crime Velvetines, and quite a few lipsticks (too many to name).

Holy Crap: Be a Bombshell products (most, but not all)

    5) What one item/product are you interested in, but just haven't gotten around to trying? Colored gel eyeliners and matte cream eyeshadows

General product section, aka not brand/color specific

    1) What one product can you just not get enough of? - Lipsticks (haha, have I mentioned these enough yet, OMG I swear I am not that obsessed)… I also really like eyeshadows and blushes :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

    2) What one product do you actually use more than any other? What runs out quickest in your make-up drawer? Probably BB Cream and Concealer

    3) What product(s) can you absolutely not use at all for reasons other than allergies/sensitivities listed in the background section (e.g., I can't use foot scrubbers because my feet are too ticklish)? – I really can’t use bronzer because I am just WAY too pale

    4) What items (makeup/skincare/tool) do you feel are missing from your routine? – Good quality brushes, a good pencil sharpener (mine seem to suck?), matte blushes…

    5) What tools/products are you looking to add, even if they are not missing?

I can always use more eyeshadow, skincare products, lipsticks, lip balm, duplicate holy grail products… I’m a collector/hoarder haha!

    6) What beauty-related product(s) do you just not want to receive?

No nail polish, bronzer, lip gloss, or falsies, please – very open to trying almost anything else!

Brands:

What brand do you have more products from than any other? Any particular reason?

-       I have lots of Benefit because I went on a Benefit binge when I first got into make-up (they have consistently great products), but also own lots of NYX, Model Co. (subscription boxes), and Urban Decay (holy pigment!).

What brand(s) have you been wanting to try but haven't gotten around to?

- MAC, Too Faced, Tarte, Lush, more Lorac, IT Cosmetics, MakeUpGeek, Kat Von D, and many drug store brands

What brand(s) do you not want?

- I wouldn’t rule anything out except maybe Elf and Be A Bombshell

Colors (not specific shades):

Answer quick like a bunny! Favorite color? MINT GREEN

Favorite color combination? Grey and Maroon/Burgundy

Color scheme of your home/room, either in reality or your imagination – reality is not very interesting, so let’s go with my imagination: pastels, creams/beiges, and natural hues (browns, greens, blacks, etc). I like that blend between indoor/outdoor living.

What one color (not brand/product specific) do you use more than any other? Why? – I use a lot of black, it goes with everything! But also I have been very into berries/maroons/reds lately.

    Color(s) to avoid?

As much as I would love to like the orange-bronzer spectrum, they just don’t look good on my skin tone D:

Scents

What's your favorite perfume/wearable scent of all time? What's your favorite perfume/wearable scent to wear?

- All time favorite is Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel, but also I like Folle de Joie, Desire by Dolce/Gabbana, and other sickeningly sweet scents (the sweeter, the better). I also like the “Sensual Amber” line from BBW and many of their sweet, seasonal scents. If you have unwanted sweet/floral perfume samples, send them my way!

What is the fragrance of your favorite home fragrance (e.g., candle, diffuser)?

- Tahitian Vanilla, Caramels scents, baking scents, etc. Both candles and diffusers are great.

Describe your favorite scents/notes, without naming a specific perfume or fragrance.

- Oranges, Bergamont, Vanilla, Caramel, Fresh spicy, floral…

Without naming a specific perfume or fragrance, what are your favorite perfume companies? Favorite home fragrance companies?
- I don’t dabble very much in fragrance, so I don’t have any favorite brands, but I am very interested in trying new scents and brands!
J I do avoid Juicy Couture fragrances, though.

What form of perfume do you prefer (oil, alcohol-based, spray, open bottle, rollerball)? What form of home fragrance do you prefer (candle, diffuser, air freshener, plug-in)?

All of the above

Other than perfume/fragrance oils, what is your favorite type of toiletry/scented item?
    Scent(s)/notes(s) to avoid?

I like scented lotions a lot, especially hand creams (Tocca comes to mind). I use candles a lot in my home, as well as air fresheners.

And finally (at least for the beauty section), Yes/No?

    Foils SURE

    Deluxe Samples YES!
    Hair Oil NO
    Face Oil SURE
    Perfume YES
    Self-tanner/tanning wipes NO

And extra non-makeup-related questions!

What designs/designers do you prefer (please limit to top 3)

I like Modcloth items, Kate Spade, and Marc Jacobs (too expensive, don’t buy this for me, this is just to give you an idea of my style)

List any public wishlists (Amazon, etsy, Sephora), swap lists and/or Tumbler/Pinterest entries your Sugar Plum Fairy should consult.

Already listed my Sephora above somewhere

My super random Amazon wish list: http://amzn.com/w/29MA7EP9O1FTJ

Trade list/Wishlist: https://www.makeuptalk.com/f/topic/129852-joceduns-trade-list-birchbox-sephora-walmart-etc-freebies-updated-1018/

Here is a list of products that I already own so that you do not duplicate items already in my collection: http://www.elfster.com/profile/view/12311161/tab/donotneed/

I also have a very extensive Birchbox favorites list (includes beauty and lifestyle items), so let me know via roadie/fairy/intermediary if you want screenshots of that list. I would share the link but Birchbox doesn’t have that feature set up yet.

Is your box all about you? Or would you like to see things in your box for your significant other/spouse, kid(s), pet(s), whatever? If the latter, please list age/gender/species.

All about me! I do live with my boyfriend and he will probably help me eat anything edible.

If your Sugar Plum Fairy curates an awesome set of items for you, would you rather they be wrapped individually, or be a huge smorgasbord that you can look at all at once? Would you prefer to open each gift slowly and methodically or will it be ribbons and bows and paper flying as you tear into it?

Wrap in whatever way you feel is best! I will love it all no matter what! No pressure to be the best gift wrapper.

It's a hot, sunny 90-degree summer day and you have no obligation to be anywhere in particular. Where are you and what are you doing?

Probably staying inside as I dislike hot weather. Maybe going to a movie, going for a swim (indoor pool), going to a museum, eating at an air-conditioned restaurant, etc. I’m thinking this question was more relevant during the summer swap haha. In the winter, I like to do seasonal, cozy things… I go to the German Kristkindlemarket every year, I drinks lots of hot cider and mulled wine, and I love Zoo Lights. I grew up in Alaska so I don’t mind cold weather and snow. J

And advanced fun stuff:

What do you do in your spare time? Are there any hobby-related items you would like?

I love reading about and planning travel ventures (I actually work in travel, as well)… In general, I do like to read a lot of magazines (tasteful ones), like Architectural Digest, Conde Nast, Psychology Today, etc. I really like keeping up on what is happening here in Chicago (news, business, restaurants, etc) and I like to explore the city as much as I can: museums, performances, events, restaurants, etc. I guess that is a hobby?

Fandoms, favorite TV shows, movies, books, music, Hogwarts house, etc.

I don’t have any fandoms per se… and I don’t collect memorabilia associated with any entertainment, but I do love reading, I love NPR and many of its podcasts (Planet Money, Fresh Air, Radiolab). Not sure if any of that will help you. :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I am in graduate school for library science so I like really geeky, library related stuff. For example, I follow this library comic: http://www.unshelved.com/

What non-beauty item(s) would send you over the moon?

A scarf, maybe a book (something funny or nerdy), mug or tea accessories, food items, a statement necklace of some kind. HINT: I usually love the lifestyle selections in the Birchbox Shop
    Pirates or ninjas? Neither

    Zombies: Yay or nay? Nay
Disney! Favorite movie, hero, villain? Not really into Disney
Describe three things decorating your living space: Maps, books, blankets/pilows

Yes/no, the extras division:

    Virtual gifts (ecerts/gift certs/eBooks) SURE
Hand-made items (from your godparent or purchased) YES
    Candles YES
Tarts Does this mean the food? I’m not really sure what this means…
    Reed Diffusers YES
    Incense SURE
Other home fragrance (say, room spray or scented rocks) YES
Local Items YES (please send a local post card - I collect them!)
    Mix CD SURE
Home Items (and what types) SURE (decorative, useful items like kitchen tools, recipe books, and anything else you can think of)
Food Items (and what types) YES (anything and everything, sweet, salty, baked, etc.)
Beverages (and what types) SURE (all types, especially tea)
Puzzle Books -- words, numbers, pictures NO

Feel free to ask me any questions via the road/fairy! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I don't want this to be a stressful experience for you at all.

I am so excited! ♡o。.(✿ฺ。 ✿ฺ)

Allergies: Cats and nickel in jewelry. Also, I am vegetarian. But otherwise, bring it on.

Style descriptions! Brief is better.

Makeup: You know, I can never seem to answer this one well. I usually describe it as bold but classic.
Hair: Blonde and I've been letting it grow out. *crosses fingers that it grows faster* I also wear lots and lots of hairbows and pretty hair clips.
Nails: I haven't had nail polish on in months. I do have pretty weak nails, so I usually put it on just to keep them from breaking.
Skincare (face/neck): Just moisturizer for my face
Bodycare (every where else): *awkward shoulder shrugging*
Home: Hey, man, I don't have a house but I love weird home stuff. Bring it on!

You just won a $50 gift card to your favorite beauty store. Which store is it, and what will you buy? This is a tough one. I generally prefer Ulta because I prefer their points system. But my favorite brand (Kat Von D) is only available at Sephora. Ummmmm....*deliberates* I'd probably still go with Ulta.

  •    ALLERGIES!! Please list any allergies to products, foods, scents, etc., that you or anyone living in your household has!: None that I know of.
  •     Dietary restrictions: Do you or anyone in your household have any food-related restrictions/sensitivities, etc? Would you prefer not to receive food items?: My fiance has a gluten sensitivity, but not one bad enough to restrict gift giving  By all means, send away!
  •     Skin allergies/sensitivities: Do you or anyone in your household have any skin allergies/sensitivities not already listed that your Sugar Plum Fairy should know about (e.g., wool, metals in jewelry, etc)? Do you avoid silicone, sulfates, etc?: I do not want any hair products with sulfates in them. I've been sulfate free for two years now, and I am never going back! I also avoid parabens.
  • Would you like to get a heads-up from a Fairy that your package is on its way, or would you prefer its delivery to be a complete surprise?: I want to know that it's on the way!

Style descriptions! Brief is better.

  •     Makeup: All over the place. Some days I want to go for a classic vintage look, other days, I want to wear grey lipstick. I like to push boundaries on what is considered "acceptable" or "beautiful"
  •     Hair: I'm always looking for new ways to amp up the curl and volume. I want BIG hair. I'm talking larger than life!
  •     Nails: My vocation (Metalsmithing) doesn't really allow for cute nails, much to my regret. I only wear nail polish for special occasions.
  •     Skincare (face/neck): My skincare routine is sacred to me, and has about as many steps as an ancient ritual. I do a mask 1-2 times a week, exfoliate every other day, and never go All over the place. Some days I want to go for a classic vintage look, other days, I want to wear blue lipstick or unmoisturised. I am constantly battling with keeping my acne at bay, and exorcising blackheads from the larger pores on my T-Zone. I like to keep it as natural as possible on this front.
  •     Bodycare (every where else): I should do more, but I don't. I'll probably whip out a body scrub or a foot bath once a month. I am getting better about applying lotion to my hands though! I love more natural scents or food scents. Anything too perfumey is out of the question.
  •     Home: I'm a broke college student living in the apartment with the cheapest rent I could find. Needless too say, my homemaking is rather lacking. The only things I've got up are my paintings, some drawings, and a few video game posters.

    More advanced questions:
  •     Solve for X: I am wearing too much X, and I DO NOT CARE!: "My brows are too bold and I DO NOT CARE!"
  •     Cruelty-free or vegan. Important, must-have, nice, don't care?: They don't have to be vegan, but I don't want products that are tested on animals. At least, not if you have to spend money on it. Say you have a sample/product that you got for free from an animal testing company. I wouldn't mind that. As long as animal testing companies don't get compensated for their unethical treatment of animals, I'm good. (Brushes should be synthetic, or made with responsibly sourced trimmed animal hair)
  •     You just won a $50 gift card to your favorite beauty store. Which store is it, and what will you buy?: Between Sephora and Ulta. Ulta is just a little more bang for my buck, but Sephora just has that.... ambiance. It's like my Tiffany's.
  •     Please list any subscription boxes you receive, along with anything you may covet from recent boxes: I receive Starlooks, Petit Vour, and I may sign up for the Bag of Sheet sheet-mask sub for November. May cancel PV this month. Anything I want from other boxes would be in my swap thread (check my signature).
  •     Assuming they are separately packaged and clearly labeled, what are your feelings on prepared-by-sender beauty items? Unsealed samples? Items from the bulk foods section?: I am A-ok with all of those!
  •     Assuming the same dollar amount is spent, would you prefer several mini items, or one or two full-sized items?: Eh, that's a tough call. I'm going to leave that up the discretion of my Secret Shopper.

    Brand-and-color-specific time!
  •     What is your all-time favorite beauty item and why?: Um... Uh.... I don't know! I'm an indecisive person, so I flip-flop all the time between what my favorite item is. Hard Candy's Glamoflage is probably the one item I will never stop buying. Does that count?
  •     What specific product(s) are you lusting after? Feel free to link to a wishlist with particulars!: Here's my Elfster list. Yep.
  •     What make-up items do you use every day? CC creme, Concealer, powder, eyeliner, mascara, brow powder, eye shadow, bronzer, highlighter, blush, lip product.... I do a full face pretty much every day.
  •     What are your holy grail items? Holy crap?:  HG would be the Hard Candy Glamoflage Concealer, UD Perversion Mascara, Jesse's Girl Liquid Eyeliner, and Dr. Brant Pores No more. HC? I don't know of anything off the top of my head... I do hate blue eyeshadow though. Navy might be ok, but bright blue eyehadow... ew.
  •     What one item/product are you interested in, but just have't gotten around to trying?: Hm... I would really like to try the Etude House Wonder Pore Clay Mask, or something similar to it. Just something to clean the ever loving crap out of my pores! I do a Bentonite clay mask that works excellently, but it's kind of messy and I'd like to find a product that I can whip out for convenience sake. On that note, I also really want to try any Korean products at all.

General product section, aka not brand/color specific
  •     What one product can you just not get enough of?: LIPPIES! I want every color, ever. I prefer lipsticks/lip cremes to glosses.
  •     What one product do you actually use more than any other? What runs out quickest in your make-up drawer? Probably my Jesse's Girl Eyeliner pen. Just using it nearly every day, getting the brush tip clogged by going over eyeshadow.
  •     What product(s) can you absolutely not use at all for reasons other than allergies/sensitivities listed in the background section (e.g., I can't use foot scrubbers because my feet are too ticklish)?: I can't think of anything.
  •     What items (makeup/skincare/tool) do you feel are missing from your routine?: I can never achieve a smokey eyeliner effect, I suspect it's because I don't have a proper brush for blending the liner out. But that's about it.
  •     What tools/products are you looking to add, even if they are not missing?: cute brushes, anything with cute packaging, and adorable compacts for me to apply lipstick with in public. Also cute makeup bags. My fiance will kill me if I get anymore, but he can't stop gift giving. Hehehe.
  •     What beauty-related product(s) do you just not want to receive?: Nail polish, blue eyeshadow, and perfume (unless it's Journey by Harvey Prince, or a Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab scent.)

    Brands:
  •     What brand do you have more products from than any other? Any particular reason?: No brand specifically. Hard Candy is the only one I specifically go out to get more of, but that's because their CC Creme and Glamoflage are intrinsic to my routine.
  •     What brand(s) have you been wanting to try but haven't gotten around to?: Korean brands/products. OCC lip tars.
  •     What brand(s) do you not want?: Brands that animal test. I'm really putting forth an effort to eliminate products and brands from my life that are tested on animals.

    Colors (not specific shades):
  •     Answer quick like a bunny! Favorite color?: Mustard yellow/Rust Orange!
  •     Favorite color combination?: Black and Gold.
  •     Color scheme of your home/room, either in reality or your imagination: I live in an apartment that I can't paint, so no help there. Also, I'm terrible at interior decorating, so yeah...
  •     What one color (not brand/product specific) do you use more than any other? Why?: Copper/Gold tones. I just love them!
  •     Color(s) to avoid?: lighter blues and purples.

    Scents
  •     What's your favorite perfume/wearable scent of all time? What's your favorite perfume/wearable scent to wear in the summer?: I love Journey by Harvey Prince! I don't really do seasonal perfume changes.
  •     What is the fragrance of your favorite home fragrance (e.g., candle, diffuser)?: I like food scents, like vanilla and pumpkin. Things that make me want to eat sweets.
  •     Describe your favorite scents/notes, without naming a specific perfume or fragrance.: Sandalwood, jasmine, ylang ylang, musk, dragon's blood, patchouli, leather, and vanilla. Also foodie scents are nice too, like pumpkin, vanilla, sweet lemon, ect. As long as they're not way too sweet (like cotton candy or something.)
  •     Without naming a specific perfume or fragrance, what are your favorite perfume companies? Favorite home fragrance companies?: LUSH, House of Gloi, and Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab for body, and no specific home fragrance brand. Bath and Body works will do.
  •     What form of perfume do you prefer (oil, alcohol-based, spray, open bottle, rollerball)? What form of home fragrance do you prefer (candle, diffuser, air freshener, plug-in)?: Oil, spray, and solid for perfume. Home fragrance? Candles I suppose. Air Fresheners work too,
  •     Other than perfume/fragrance oils, what is your favorite type of toiletry/scented item?: Scented Hair Oils! I really want to try some. Soaps and body butters are lovely too.
  •     Scent(s)/notes(s) to avoid?: Anything too perfumey. Is that vague enough? Haha. Uh, I just don't like most perfumes unless they smell like what I listed above. I'm kind of picky.

  •     What designs/designers do you prefer (please limit to top 3): Um, I shop at Goodwill? I mean, don't get me wrong, I can get it with my style, but I don't really follow designers. I mean, I love things on Mod Cloth? Does that count?
  •     List any public wishlists (Amazon, etsy, Sephora), swap lists and/or Tumbler/Pinterest entries your Sugar Plum Fairy should consult.: Everything I'd want to be considered will be on my Elfster list, but if you want o check out my the Beauty Tumblr in my signature to get a feel for my style, feel free.
  •     Is your box all about you? Or would you like to see things in your box for your significant other/spouse, kid(s), pet(s), whatever? If the latter, please list age/gender/species.: Nope. It's all about me baby. (Though if you threw in some cat treats for my baby girl, I wouldn't mind.)

Would you prefer to open each gift slowly and methodically or will it be ribbons and bows and paper flying as you tear into it?: I like cute wrapping! I think It'd be more fun to unwrap each item. I tear my paper away briskly, but I try not to demolish bows. I love bows.
  •     It's a hot, sunny 90-degree summer day and you have no obligation to be anywhere in particular. Where are you and what are you doing?: Probably playing video games or watching television. Yep.

Makeup- Basically anything, I mainly love bright colors. My least fav. color is brown. But I love all makeup. Only product I don't really use is foundation/concealer.
Hair- I don't usually do much with my hair, so sticking away from this section is probably best :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
Nails- I am a HUGE nail person. I do my nails all of the time. Just got into water marble-ing/stamping. Favorite brand is Zoya. I have a LOT of Zoya polishes, but nothing too new. I use nail vinyls all of the time and like to do designs and such.
Skincare (face/neck) -Not a big skin care person.
Bodycare (every where else)- I like good smelling body lotion, but again, not really into it as much as makeup/nails. I don't even use lotion everyday, only when I really need it.
Home- No style in particular, I like colorful, cute things. I love hearts. I love stuffed animals and blankets and such. That's about it.

More advanced questions:

Solve for X: I am wearing too much liquid eyeliner, and I DO NOT CARE!
Cruelty-free or vegan. Important, must-have, nice, don't care? (both apply to me, it's nice to stay cruelty-free, but I unfortunately do use some makeup that isn't and vegan doesn't matter to me at all.)
You just won a $50 gift card to your favorite beauty store. Which store is it, and what will you buy? Sephora or Ulta. Wouldn't know what I'd buy, I'd have to browse and swatch!
Please list any subscription boxes you receive, along with anything you may covet from recent boxes. I get Ipsy and Birchbox. Nothing jumps to my mind as something I really wanted that didn't get....urgh
Assuming they are separately packaged and clearly labeled, what are your feelings on prepared-by-sender beauty items? Unsealed samples? Items from the bulk foods section? I am pretty open to anything, but if it's a swatched item I'd like to know.
Assuming the same dollar amount is spent, would you prefer several mini items, or one or two full-sized items? It definitely depends on the item/items but if I HAD to choose 1, I would say several minis, that way you get to try more things!

Brand-and-color-specific time!

What is your all-time favorite beauty item and why? Loreal Magic Skin BB Cream. I have like 8 back up bottles. Best face product I have ever owned. Does wonders for my skin.

What one item/product are you interested in, but just have't gotten around to trying? Totally cannot think of this right now. There's a few palettes that are out that I never purchased because they seemed to pricey, but I can't think of a decent priced item I am dying to try that I haven't...

What one product do you actually use more than any other? What runs out quickest in your make-up drawer? Again, the loreal BB cream, but also Liquid liners (any color but brown), and lipsticks, and blush, and mascara :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

What items (makeup/skincare/tool) do you feel are missing from your routine? I really really good eyelash curler. I have one and use it every day, I just don't love it.
What tools/products are you looking to add, even if they are not missing? More makeup brushes. Specifically blush/contour brushes and small eye detail brushes.
What beauty-related product(s) do you just not want to receive? Concealer/foundation.

Brands:

What brand do you have more products from than any other? Any particular reason? Lime Crime, Urban Decay, NYX, Glamour Doll Eyes. Just cause I love them very much.
What brand(s) have you been wanting to try but haven't gotten around to? Too many...and I can't think of it. Plenty of indie stuff.

Individually packed is awesome, bows and glitter and everything are awesome. Everything is awesome. Whatever you feel comfortable doing :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> A huge smorgashbord is fine too!
It's a hot, sunny 90-degree summer day and you have no obligation to be anywhere in particular. Where are you and what are you doing? Honestly, probably inside watching a show :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> OR at the beach just listening to music. ALLERGIES!! Please list any allergies to products, foods, scents, etc., that you or anyone living in your household has! No allergies!
Dietary restrictions: Do you or anyone in your household have any food-related restrictions/sensitivities, etc? Would you prefer not to receive food items? I am a vegetarian (no meat, but dairy/eggs okay). I am fine with receiving food items!
Skin allergies/sensitivities: Do you or anyone in your household have any skin allergies/sensitivities not already listed that your Sugar Plum Fairy should know about (e.g., wool, metals in jewelry, etc)? Do you avoid silicone, sulfates, etc? Nothing too strict--I've been sensitive to skin products that include charcoal in the past, so I try to avoid them. I also generally try to use curly-friendly hair products (sulfate-free, etc.) but am not strict about it and will use samples that have sulfates anyway.

Would you like to get a heads-up from a Fairy that your package is on its way, or would you prefer its delivery to be a complete surprise? Yes please!

Style descriptions! Brief is better.

Makeup: Simple, neutral, but polished. Think MLBB lip colors, neutral eye shadows, and light coverage face makeup.  I have fair skin and amber colored eyes.
Hair: Fine, curly, medium/dark brown. I almost always wear it natural (so no heat styling for me).
Nails: Neutral or "basic" colors (red, purple-ish, burgundy, pink, etc.). Not so into glitters or funky stuff--need to keep it client-friendly for work.
Skincare (face/neck): I have a good cleanser/serum/moisturizer routine going right now, but I am open to new products. I use a lot of Ole Henriksen and Algenist. I generally have combination/oily skin (more combination in the winter) and get occasional whiteheads or hormonal breakouts, but nothing too systematic (any more!). Getting to that age where I'm getting serious about anti-aging products...
Bodycare (every where else): LOVE having some fun with body care stuff. I like seasonally scented lotions/body washes and LOVE bath stuff (bath bombs, bubble bath, etc.).
Home: Neutrals, a mix between traditional and cozy.

More advanced questions:

Solve for X: I am wearing too much X, and I DO NOT CARE! Scented body products!
Cruelty-free or vegan. Important, must-have, nice, don't care? I am a vegetarian, so I try to avoid leather products for clothing, but I haven't really extended the cruelty free to my makeup habits yet.
You just won a $50 gift card to your favorite beauty store. Which store is it, and what will you buy? Probably Sephora, and probably lip products!
Please list any subscription boxes you receive, along with anything you may covet from recent boxes. Birchbox and I occasionally take Julep. I was seriously coveting the Beauty Blender in last month's BB and didn't get it!
Assuming they are separately packaged and clearly labeled, what are your feelings on prepared-by-sender beauty items? Unsealed samples? Items from the bulk foods section? All of that is fine.
Assuming the same dollar amount is spent, would you prefer several mini items, or one or two full-sized items? If I have to choose, I'll go minis, but either one is great!

Brand-and-color-specific time!

What is your all-time favorite beauty item and why? Oof. Maybe Blinc mascara? It was the first mascara I found that didn't flake or rub off for me (I've subsequently found others, but I keep coming back to Blinc for day-to-day at least). I like the "tube" removal. And generally I think mascara is the product that makes me look most alive!
What specific product(s) are you lusting after? Feel free to link to a wishlist with particulars! I'll add a wishlist on Elfster.
What make-up items do you use every day? Some sort of base (usually Dr. Jart BB cream,  but I've been experimenting with other things!), concealer, setting powder, eye shadow, eye brow product, mascara, blush, lipstick/balm.
What are your holy grail items? Holy crap? Holy grail: Blinc mascara, L'Occitane hand lotion, NYX butter glosses, Bite Beauty lipsticks, Dr. Jart BB creams, Ole Henriksen skincare, YesTo face wipes, Origins Checks & Balance face wash. Holy crap: most highlighters for me (too shimmery for my day to day), Benefit Benebalm
What one item/product are you interested in, but just have't gotten around to trying? Nyx lip liner, Hourglass blushes, Nails Inc and Zoya nail polish, Seche Vite top coat.

General product section, aka not brand/color specific

What one product can you just not get enough of? Err, I think my honest answer to this would be neutral eye shadow, but I have so much of it! Let's go with lip products. Lately I've been on a drug store lippies binge--can't get enough! (Think NYX butter glosses/butter lipsticks, Revlon Lip Butters, etc.). Also love UD Revolution, Bite Beauty, and Too Faced La Creme lippies!
What one product do you actually use more than any other? What runs out quickest in your make-up drawer? Setting powder!
What product(s) can you absolutely not use at all for reasons other than allergies/sensitivities listed in the background section (e.g., I can't use foot scrubbers because my feet are too ticklish)? For the most part I avoid highlighters because I don't like looking too shimmery.
What items (makeup/skincare/tool) do you feel are missing from your routine? High quality brushes. A slightly-more-coverage face base (not just thin BB cream) for special events. Some magical base/top coat system that will help my nail polish last through the work week. Concealer that will actually hide my under-eye circles.
What tools/products are you looking to add, even if they are not missing? Drug store lip products, brushes, all the bath/shower products, indie scents, hand cream.
What beauty-related product(s) do you just not want to receive? Highlighters, eyeliner (have too much for something I don't use often), funky nail polish, bronzers (rarely wear), and indie (or otherwise loose) eye shadows/pigments. (I'm sorry if you, my SS, are an indie-lover, I don't mean to crush your dreams! I am still open to other indie things, I just really don't want loose eyeshadows).

Brands:

What brand do you have more products from than any other? Any particular reason? No one overwhelming brand--I have different preferences for different categories. For face stuff, a lot of Dr. Jart because that just works for me. For eye stuff, I have a lot of BareMinerals Ready shadows (love that formula), Too Faced, and Lorac. For lips, a lot of Bite Beauty and NYX. Cheeks, a lot of Tarte and Nars. For hair, I've really loved the Macademia and AG lines (though still trying to find my HG combo).
What brand(s) have you been wanting to try but haven't gotten around to? Some indie scent brands--Alchemic Muse and BPAL. For makeup, it is mostly pricier brands not appropriate for this exchange (Burberry, Tom Ford).
What brand(s) do you not want? I can't think of anything I am absolutely opposed to...maybe indie eye shadow-only brands, but just for the items they make, nothing against the brands.

Colors (not specific shades):

Answer quick like a bunny! Favorite color? Purple!
Favorite color combination? Hmmm...cognac and navy.
Color scheme of your home/room, either in reality or your imagination All the neutrals, plus bolder earth tones (olive green, deep yellow). Some rooms feature more of a soft blue/teal.
What one color (not brand/product specific) do you use more than any other? Why? In makeup, I mostly stick to neturals. Though I love an occasional soft purple eye look!
Color(s) to avoid? I do not do well with anything really fiery looking--bright reds, orange, etc. Both in makeup or anything else!

Scents

What's your favorite perfume/wearable scent of all time? What's your favorite perfume/wearable scent to wear in the summer? I am so new to scents I don't know if I have a favorite! I know my fiancee loves VS Heavenly on me, haha. In general I love gourmand scents, things that feature vanilla, and the occasional bit of spice in my scents.
What is the fragrance of your favorite home fragrance (e.g., candle, diffuser)? B&BW candles: Pumpkin Cupcake, Tailgate, Pumpkin Caramel Latte. Nest Moroccan Amber (and pretty much anything).
Describe your favorite scents/notes, without naming a specific perfume or fragrance. Pumpkin spice, vanilla, some marshmallow scents, bourbon, caramel, rose, occasionally fire smoke as a base note. Generally gourmand, sweet scents. I like sweet or sultry florals too.
Without naming a specific perfume or fragrance, what are your favorite perfume companies? Favorite home fragrance companies? I love everything I've tried from Haus of Gloi. For mainstream scents, I find Marc Jacobs scents easy to wear for every day and love Atelier scents. For home, I use a lot of B&BW stuff-candles, soaps, etc.
What form of perfume do you prefer (oil, alcohol-based, spray, open bottle, rollerball)? What form of home fragrance do you prefer (candle, diffuser, air freshener, plug-in)? Anything is fine for perfume. For home fragrance, I typically use candles, but only because I don't currently own a tart warmer.
Other than perfume/fragrance oils, what is your favorite type of toiletry/scented item? All of them! Bath products, body lotions, room fragrance...the list goes on.
Scent(s)/notes(s) to avoid? I don't like most citrusy scents (unless they are mixed with something more...sweet? I like creamsicle, for example) or anything that would generally be described as "fresh." Anything that would be described as summery (especially coconut). I don't like dirt/ground scents either.

And finally (at least for the beauty section), Yes/No?

    Foils Yes
    Deluxe Samples Yes
    Hair Oil No
    Face Oil Yes
    Perfume Yes
    Sunblock/Sunscreen Yes
    Self-tanner/tanning wipes No

And extra non-makeup-related questions!

What designs/designers do you prefer (please limit to top 3): I am not super familiar with a lot of designers, so I'll leave this blank lest I give you the wrong impression! Fashion-wise in general I've been really into capsule wardrobe dressing lately. I wear a mix of crisp preppy and downtown street (lol) that works for me.
List any public wishlists (Amazon, etsy, Sephora), swap lists and/or Tumbler/Pinterest entries your Sugar Plum Fairy should consult. Here is my Elfster List!
Is your box all about you? Or would you like to see things in your box for your significant other/spouse, kid(s), pet(s), whatever? If the latter, please list age/gender/species. Totally unnecessary, but I have a fiancee who would be just tickled if there was something in there for him! He quite likes peanut butter and chocolate flavored candies, if you were so inclined!
Whichever my SS prefers! I have the self-control to do one a day, if that is preferred!
It's a hot, sunny 90-degree summer day and you have no obligation to be anywhere in particular. Where are you and what are you doing? Reading in a hammock in my shaded backyard!

And advanced fun stuff:

What do you do in your spare time? Are there any hobby-related items you would like? I read a fair amount, watch TV, and run. I'm still searching for my perfect running socks, haha!
Fandoms, favorite TV shows, movies, books, music, Hogwarts house, etc.

Fandoms: I've never really been a fandom person, but I am a huge Harry Potter fan!

TV Shows: Arrested Development (forever and always my #1, even after the Netflix fiasco!), Always Sunny, The League, New Girl, Scandal, How to Get Away With Murder

Books: primarily relatable or popular fiction, memoirs, etc.

What non-beauty item(s) would send you over the moon? Pretty paper products! Colorful pens! Candles!
    Pirates or ninjas? Pirates
Zombies: Yay or nay? Nay. Though my fiancee says yay.
Disney! Favorite movie, hero, villain? I'm not a Disney person per se, but I'll go with Belle!
Describe three things decorating your living space. Cozy blankets, art with meaning, and textured pillows.

Yes/no, the extras division:

Allergies: I am allergic to cinnamon, so no lip plumpers! I’m also allergic to whatever is in Burts Bees and Eos lip balms. No idea what the common ingredient is, but I’m allergic!

Dietary restrictions: I don’t have dietary restrictions, but I am a picky eater.

Skin allergies/sensitivities: See allergies.

Would you like to get a heads-up from a Fairy that your package is on its way, or would you prefer its delivery to be a complete surprise? I would love to know if the package is on its way!

Style descriptions! Brief is better.

Makeup-I like classic looks (winged eyeliner/red lips) as well as more colorful looks like bright eyeliner and bright lips.

Hair-I have really fine/thin curly brown hair. I like as much volume as possible and avoid serums and oils since my hair is so fine.

Nails-I always have my nails painted! I will wear any color or style on my nails.

Skincare (face/neck)-I have a skin condition called Seborrhea, so I have to use special prescription cleansers and lotions, so I don’t want to mess with that system!

Bodycare (every where else): I use lush in the shower and lotions!

Home: I like my house to smell like I just baked something even when I didn’t. Bakery type scents I love!

Allergies:  I recently found out I am allergic to camphor, it is not in a lot of beauty products but thought I should put it out there.  I have also had problems with strong floral scents so tend to avoid them.  I'm not allergic to any foods and would love food items!

Style descriptions! Brief is better.

Makeup  I tend to do a nudish or earthy eye with bold mascara and a pop of color on the lips.
Hair  Occasionally blow dry, mostly in a ponytail for work.  I am always looking for volume.
Nails  I will try any color on my nails.  I love to have fun with nail color.
Skincare (face/neck)  I go for fragrance free and hypoallergenic, my face is pretty sensitive.
Bodycare (every where else)  I love a good creamy lotion.  Food or spicy scents are my favorite for body.
Home  I don't use a lot of scent in my home.  For cleaners I usually pick citrus scents.

More advanced questions:

Solve for X: I am wearing too much X, and I DO NOT CARE!  Mascara!
Cruelty-free or vegan. Important, must-have, nice, don't care?  Nice but not something I look at most of the time.
You just won a $50 gift card to your favorite beauty store. Which store is it, and what will you buy?  Right now it would be ULTA, so many choices there!  I would use it to stock up on moisturizer for winter and probably get some red lippies for winter.
Please list any subscription boxes you receive, along with anything you may covet from recent boxes.  I only get Birchbox at the moment.  I have been loving the MArcelle samples so would love to try any of their products.  I have also been coveting the Number 4 and Amika hair masks.
Assuming they are separately packaged and clearly labeled, what are your feelings on prepared-by-sender beauty items? Unsealed samples? Items from the bulk foods section?  All fine with me.
Assuming the same dollar amount is spent, would you prefer several mini items, or one or two full-sized items?

I would probably prefer several mini's but I can think of so many exceptions to that, lol.  I figure if it is something the sender would love to get I will love it too.

Brand-and-color-specific time!

What is your all-time favorite beauty item and why?  Right now it is Philosophy Hands of hope, hand and cuticle cream.  I get really dry patches on my face, neck, hands, feet, etc.  This stuff works great everywhere and it doesn't irritate my skin at all.  Finding it was a miracle!
What specific product(s) are you lusting after? Feel free to link to a wishlist with particulars!  I have been purging my make-up stash so am open to so many things.  I would really love to try something from Lush.  I always get things for exchanges but never any for myself, lol.  My favorite items in previous exchanges have been my Secret Santa's HG items.  I would love to try things you love!
What make-up items do you use every day?  I always put on mascara and some sort of lipgloss/balm/lipstick.
What are your holy grail items? Holy crap?  HG:  Elizabeth Mott It's So Big Mascara,  No Bleeding Lips secret lip liner.

Holy Crap:  Pacifica eyeshadows.
What one item/product are you interested in, but just have't gotten around to trying?  I would love to try nail stencils.

General product section, aka not brand/color specific

What one product can you just not get enough of?  Mascara and lip items.
What one product do you actually use more than any other? What runs out quickest in your make-up drawer?  Mascara and clear brow gel
What product(s) can you absolutely not use at all for reasons other than allergies/sensitivities listed in the background section (e.g., I can't use foot scrubbers because my feet are too ticklish)?  False lashes, I get super blinky with them on.
What items (makeup/skincare/tool) do you feel are missing from your routine?  I need a good light moisturizer for warmer days/months.  Also a good alcohol-free makeup remover to avoid drying my face out.
What tools/products are you looking to add, even if they are not missing?  I would love to have another general application eyeshadow brush.
What beauty-related product(s) do you just not want to receive?  I don't really use black or dark eyeliners.

Brands:

What brand do you have more products from than any other? Any particular reason?  Pixi and NYX, mostly because of subs.
What brand(s) have you been wanting to try but haven't gotten around to?  Would love to try Too Faced and Butter London.
What brand(s) do you not want?  I am open to all brands.  I never know where my next HG will come from!

Colors (not specific shades):

Answer quick like a bunny! Favorite color?  Purple
Favorite color combination?  green and gold
Color scheme of your home/room, either in reality or your imagination  Faint purple walls with rich wood tones.
What one color (not brand/product specific) do you use more than any other? Why?  Champagne or tan/brown for eyes.  It seems to look best with my eyes and lets me play up my lip color.
Color(s) to avoid?  Orange,  it just doesn't like me.

Scents

Without naming a specific perfume or fragrance, what are your favorite perfume companies? Favoritehome fragrance companies?  I rarely use perfume so don't have a favorite.
What form of perfume do you prefer (oil, alcohol-based, spray, open bottle, rollerball)?     Other than perfume/fragrance oils, what is your favorite type of toiletry/scented item?  I enjoy bath oils/ bubbles/bombs,  pretty much anything you can put in a tub.

Is your box all about you? Or would you like to see things in your box for your significant other/spouse, kid(s), pet(s), whatever? If the latter, please list age/gender/species.  Up to you.  I have a husband, 14 lb adorable dog named Josh, and am expecting my first baby (a girl) on December 27th!
However the mood strikes you .  I will love it either way.
It's a hot, sunny 90-degree summer day and you have no obligation to be anywhere in particular. Where are you and what are you doing?  I'm answering this as if it is a cool Fall/Winter day.  I would be curled up on the couch with the dog and a blanket, reading a cozy mystery and sipping tea or hot cocoa.  I love cozy days!

And advanced fun stuff:

What do you do in your spare time? Are there any hobby-related items you would like?  I like to read and eat in my spare time.  Right now I can't get enough of cheesy cozy mysteries.  (You know, the ones where the local knitting group solves the crime, lol)  These are my guilty pleasure.  (If you decide to include any book related items I am a big fan of used!)  I also sew, knit, and crochet when I have time.
