The desire to find high end makeup at a reasonable price is a goal for many women and men. Websites offering makeup at a discount always made me worry, because of the fake product pandemic that seems to plague sites like Ebay and Amazon. Now, to make matters worse we have website's offering used makeup at a small discount. What if I told you, that I would sell you my used MAC eye pigments for only 10$ off of the retail price? Would you buy it? I believe your answer would be a derogatory, NO!

There is always a chance of contamination, don't matter what we do to eliminate the risk.  The website is called Glambot, and I don't understand how this is legal?  The process is simple, you send them your used makeup and they will check it for authenticity. Then they are supposed to put it threw a sterilization process. This seems harmless, but if you research further you are going to see the implications. You cannot eliminate viruses and bacteria without ruining the product. The pricey dermatological treatments because you have contacted staph or cystic acne.  Furthermore, let's not forget about the life-threatening ramifications to our overall health.  In my opinion, selling an unhealthy product in order to make a profit is disgusting. I feel your life is worth more than just 10$ off.

Das nasty. x_x There are also people who dumpster dive for makeup...sometimes it's fully sealed and packaged product that a store wasn't able to sell, but a lot of times it's opened product that may or may not have been used...even eye and lip products! I don't care how many times you might sanitize those after you find them, I still wouldn't put them on my face.

I read both your posts.  Here in the UK there has been a crackdown by the Trading Standards Agency where they have closed down several eBay sellers of counterfeit products, take a read of these 2 websites
