What's considered a generic brand and what's considered a "real" brand?

What exactly do you mean? I have never seen generic brands of makeup, everything is branded? Do you mean drugstore makeup?

I'm wondering if she means Like Wet& Wild, and NYC...etc. That's what I consider generic....not so much generic, but lower end!

i think she means store brands. like if CVS put out their own line of mu. i know that Cvs has their own version of Olay Regenerist skin care lotion(s)/face cream. a few dollars cheaper, but i don't know if that makes a big difference or not

I'm assuming this means drugstore brands, and if that's the case, then some are better than others. Some are almost better than some high-end brands too...

Sorry I havnt been on lately, but I mean when drugstores copy a brand and say its their own but for cheaper? If that makes any sense haha. Uhm but for example like clean and clear or jergens natural glow.
