One way to avoid this is to, as everyone else has said, use moisturiser. I perfer coconut oil as it is antibacterial and stops me from breaking out. Use a swirling dish to fully cover your kabuki brush. Put only a minimal amount of MMU in the swirling dish. Error on the side of less as you can always put more on without any trouble. After the MMU is on the kabuki, use a spray bottle to spritz the brush thre times. Then use the slightly wet brush to buff the MMU in. One application should do it and be sure to buff for at least three minutes before you add more MMU. Remember that MMU often looks cakey when first put on. Give it a few minutes to soak in and it will look a lot better! Bonne chance!
