I was wondering if anyone here has ever been an AmeriCorps member or knows someone who has. (for anyone who isn't familiar with it, AmeriCorps is basically the domestic version of the Peace Corps, and you can check out americorps.org if you're interested)
I interviewed for an AmeriCorps position (specifically, as a Volunteer Coordinator for Camp Fire USA) and am debating about accepting the position (provided they even offer it to me
So I'm curious about other people's experiences with the program. It sounds like a great learning/growing experience, but I'm concerned about being able to live on a budget.
