Today Adventures in Polishland's blog was disabled or deleted by Wordpress. Reason: Unknown but according to their site she violated their Terms of Service.Update: I am in the process of building a completely new website, as WordPress refuses to communicate with me and give me back control of my original blog. I hope to have Adventures in Polishland back up and running by the end of the week. Thank you for understanding.

Which in turn brings me to this post. Do YOU backup your blog in the event it's compromised or deleted?WordPress disabled Adventures in Polishland blog! She's in the process of building a new one because of it. How horrible to start over from scratch since it means losing her stats and website traffic data!
This brings me to a tip of the day for bloggers. We all typically depend on some type of blogging site to host our posts and/or photos but what happens when your account is compromised either by the host shutting the site down or getting hacked? Do YOU have backups of your blog or photos? I know with my pictures I do have my photos on my PC but my actual blog posts, I don't. I would suggest at least once a week to back your posts up or twice a week if you post frequently.
