false nail and false nail tips

Hey girls (and guys), I'm trying to buy some false nails from ebay, but most of the nails thhat show up are false nail TIPS. I know what nail tips are, but is it also used for full nails? I bought a pack from sally's but i didnt realize it said nail tips.. lol Im so confused. can someone please explain?? Thanks!!

Look for the ones that say full cover nails.
