I disagree with not using a toner. When you cleanse your face your stripping all the natural nutrients from it that keeps it healthy. You need to apply a gentle toner to restore the PH levels in your skin or it with dry out. Toner also clears any cleanser residue & closes your pores. I've never had any problems with toner. As long as it's got no harsh ingredients. My skin is beautiful & my pores are hardly visible & I have toner to thank for that. Having said that .. Everybody has different skin requirements (-:
