How do I find my color foundation in a new brand?

I've always used Maybelline and Revlon products and that was basically it for makeup. Revlon Colorstay Foundation for combination/oily skin in True Beige is my perfect shade.

Now I want to try L'oreal True Match Foundation but how do I find the right shade?

Any tips?

I am not good at color matching by name. If I want to try another brand I tend to grab both bottles and compare until I find the closest. I am sure some of the other ladies here can probably give you a specific answer.
