Tone with rose water morning and night.
Moisturize with unrefined shea butter morning and night, I recommend Alaffia. (Bonus: add Rosehip carrier oil for extra scar-diminishing power.)
Apply the following mask for thirty minutes once to bi-weekly. (This is my favorite mask of all time! Everyone should try it!)
1 Tbsp. Honey
1 Tsp. Cinnamon
1 Tsp. Milk
Additional Explanations: Rose water is high in vitamin C and aids in scaring, skin regeneration, elasticity, and more. Shea butter aids in scaring as well as combats wrinkles, dehydration, and normalizes oil production. Honey aids in scaring and is a natural humectant, it plumps and softens the skin and attracts moisture, and it is also an anti-bacterial/anti-fungal. Cinnamon will help the mask to set. Milk will help the mask to spread on easily and also aids in scaring by making use of a natural, gentle exfoliation using lactose. Rosehip carrier oil helps in scaring, wrinkles, stretch marks, UV damage, and more. You can make use of Rosehip oil as a serum, or by adding it to your shea butter (google directions for properly melting shea butter to add the oil to it).
I promise results.
I'm an esthetician who went through the same battle in my late teens. Using hydroquinone on skin as dark as yours is not recommended, and hydroquinone, AHAs, and BHAs will all thin your skin; not a pretty look. Save those for later, if nothing else works. Good luck!
I need to try this ! Thank you !!
