just wanted to wish u good luck and have fun. Hope the other Mu artists can help ..i've never done Mu on any else b4 .. so i don't realli know what to suggest.

Sorry I don't have any pics, but if I have some will post. So her eyes are small and sunken? And when her eyes are open you can barely see her eyelids? I would use a shimmery light colored eyeshadow on her lids, extend light color up towards the crease, just beyond, then apply a medium-darker shade in her upper crease area, but just below her brow bone. Apply a light shade to the brown bone, blend well That would make her eyes stand out and appear more forward or open. Also when applying eyeliner to the bottom area, I would only line 1/3 to 1/4 of the way because otherwise lining all the way may make the eyes appear smaller or more sunken Okay here is an article below for small or hooded eyes. Hope this helps!

Hooded Eyes

THE CHALLENGE

"When this eye type is open, the lid disappears and you can't see the crease, so you need to create a look of depth.

Step 1: Sweep a light shadow from your lash line to halfway up the lid (or where a crease would be).

Step 2: Apply a medium shade into your "crease"

Step 3: Using a dark eye pencil or shadow, draw a thin precise line along the upper lashes to give them definition.

Step 4: "Highlight the brow bone right under the arch with a shimmery shade, to add lift and light to the eye.

Brow Tip: Keep your brows on the thin side so there's more space between them and your lash line.

hello there, good luck with your competition!

I was going to put up some links, but I noticed that you don't have enough posts to be able to view them, so i'm cutting and pasting a thread from jennifer:

Use a medium dark shade of shadow along side the bridge of the nose. Blend up toward inside of the eye brows. Apply eye liner and mascara heavier toward inside half of the eye. Thicken brow from the beginning of the brow to the arch to bring the eyes closer together. Deep set eyes

To bring out the lid and crease area: Apply a light colour to the eyelid and crease. Also apply a medium "skin tone" shade to the brow bone. Line against upper lashes with a bright eye liner pencil, and smudge lightly. Keep brows light and airy, so as to de-emphasize the heavy brow bone.

Close set & small eyes

To widen the area in between the eyes & make eyes appear larger: On the inside corners of the eyes and along side of the nose, apply a light highlight to widen the eyes. On the lower inner rim of the eye, apply a white pencil to make the eyes appear more open. On the outer corner, use a deep, intense shade, extending the colour past the corner of the eye. Tweeze the brows slightly farther apart than the inside corner of the eye. Extend brows slightly past the outer corner of the eyes.

Eye tricks

Avoid using eyeshadows on the brow bone that are too white, frosted, red or orange. Instead, use shades that look like they could double as tinted powder. Use a cake eyeliner for a crisp line that defines, yet still appears soft. Avoid liquid eyeliner as it can appear harsh.

Define and lift the brow by tweezing away stray hairs and by applying brow colour along the top of the brow. A brow powder is great for filling in the spaces of sparse brows. Use an angle brush to lighten the inside corner of the eye with a neutral shadow. Try stippling a little Vitamin E lip conditioner on 'crows' feet' at the corners of eyes.

Protruding lid

To diminish the lid: Apply a "deep shade" to the lid and a very light reflective shade to the brow bone. Use a dark shade of pencil inside the lower inner rim. And use a dark pencil to line against upper lashes, and smudge. Keep brows light and airy, so as to not overpower a small brow bone.

You can also browse around the tut forum to get more ideas, there are other threads about eyes also (in terms of application and colors).

Good luck!!!

I don't have any tips/advice, but it seems like Shelley & Tadzio gave some good ones. Best of luck on the competition!
