i posted this somewhere else too, i forgot where, but if you go to mac you can ask for shadows that are already depotted, tell them you have palettes at home and you want the eyeshadow without the pot, and theyll give you the shadow in this little envelope. thats what i did and i went home and put my shadow in an elf palette.

I wonder why MAC's shadows aren't designed to just pop out like Stila's if they sell palette's specifically for them. You would think it wouldn't be such an ordeal!
