You usually PM the person you are interested.  How you PM is go to the arrow under their name, hover and a drop down will appear.  Select PM.  (personal message) Put a subject line in Like "swap Pop beauty palette?" then type in your message.  Since you are new you will likely only get 2 messages until your post count increases so you will have to wait till the next day to send more messages if you cannot work out the trade in your allotted messages.

Most people ship via paypal with tracking or go to the post office.  make sure to securely package your items against breakage and tape package closed.  PM the person the tracking number, and they should PM you the tracking number as well.  Once the package is recieved leave feedback for the person.  Wait, I think you have to have a post count of 15 to make a trade list to be able to leave feedback.
