MAC counters in department stores!!!???

MAC is minding its bottom line, so that means they'll sell wherever they can find customers. On the other hand, it seems like their quality has suffered a bit in the last couple of years. The bigger they get, the lower the quality. However, they never seem to charge any less. What a surprise (sarcasm). I rarely ever use MAC's Pro line, but I wonder if it has the same quality issues that the consumer products do...anyone?
