Moisturizing serum recommendations

Hi all,

I have recently started using a serum in the morning and despite being scared of this at first, it's really helped my skin stop getting as oily during the day. I've been using the Joanna Vargas daily serum sample that I got in my Birchbox, which I LOVE but is also $80 for a full size. Does anyone have recommendations for a lightweight serum that's not too expensive?
