I've always loved the painting "Nighthawks" by Edward Hopper (1942). I was lucky to see it in-person frequently when I was going to school in Chicago as it is housed at the Art Institute there. While it's not the most beautiful piece of art I've ever seen, the mood it exudes really speaks to me. It also brings me fond memories of living in the city so I feel a bit nostalgic when I see it
